I'm a blind person, and this was brilliant. The fact the character's sounds and voices moved around the stereo field, thank you for doing this. Absolutely fantastic, and the voice acting actually makes it very funny to listen to as well, and I mean that in a good way. When I realized oh wait the characters sound like figures moving as well, it made more sense and I could have a good laugh at the voice acting but actually really enjoy myself as well. It's a lego experience, it's not meant to be super serious, is how I pretty much considered it in the end, and loved it.

I’m so glad to get such a comment like yours. Frankly, I've never thought about what it feels like to check out one of my movies without being able to see the visual content, but relying solely on the audible part. In fact, it is important to me to distribute the sounds and voices in the stereo panorama as they move through the scene. Did you use a screen reader in addition, or did you pick up the story solely with the sound delivered by the video? Your feedback made my day. Thank you very much for this and for watching the video.
@jukesy19928 ай бұрын
@@Brickhausen I use a screen reader for comments and descriptions, and a video to do the rest. One thing that could help, is if you could provide a link to a sort of script which describes visual elements, I could read that with my screen reader too. That is a big undertaking though perhaps.

Why are u. Blind 😂
@jukesy199229 күн бұрын
@@shakeelaarif4261 Well, that's actually an interesting question for you to ask. I am guessing there's two parts to this answer: the first, is the parts I can easily figure out: I've I've been blind ever since I can remember, I learned to touch type since I was four, and learned Braille too. The next part is the harder one for me to explain, the how. Well, it's an eye condition. I was born premature and whilst I've always known the name of my condition, your question has actually got me to look at what it is. Essentially, it seems like blood vessels grew in my eye or something. The result being that my eyes are essentially thigns that I can blink and move, but I'm receiving nothing back. It's still interesting though as my brain can, oddly, interpret colours in it's own way. As in, if osmeone says something is blue my brain just compartmentalizes it and knows blue is different to, say, yellow or red, but doesn't, exactly, know what those are. I still prefer detail though, saying the colour of something is more intersting than just saying there's something there.

@@nicstevens6499 Thank you very much for your feedback. Actually, this is my first longer video here on KZbin, and I am so glad that it has been so well received. I plan to do another one. But this will take some time, as it is a lot of work to do the stop-motion footage for a movie that is that long.

@@Brickhausen I believe it.. May I ask the total time with editing and filming etc it takes to make a short film like that???
@Brickhausen8 ай бұрын
@@nicstevens6499 That’s a good question, which is actually difficult to answer, as I made some passages contained in this video already during the last year and some others shortly before the release. Usually, I need 3 to 4 weeks for all the work that is needed to do a 1 to 2 minutes long video. So, roughly, I would estimate that it took 36 weeks for this one.

Why does Harry change in every scene
@Brickhausen2 ай бұрын
That's a very good question. It's because I used a lot of shorter films that I shot between 2023 and 2024 for this 11-minute movie. When I shot the first episodes, I didn't even have the idea of using them in a longer movie, so I didn't pay attention to continuity.
