Let me explain the Elephant on that Marching Band you mentioned, Jordan... The Order of the Elephant (Danish: Elefantordenen) is a Danish order of chivalry and is Denmark's highest-ranked honour. It has origins in the 15th century, but has officially existed since 1693, and since the establishment of constitutional monarchy in 1849, is now almost exclusively used to honour royalty and heads of state.

I'm like you, get up early for breakfast, and beat the crowds. Make the most of every day. You must get high mountains in your city, not as tall as Lego house but higher than 60cm. Love that you are showing us your trip.

hey Jordan, I travel 30 - 35 times a year internationally (flights longer than 10 hours). The number one tip I use to avoid jet lag is syncing your clock to the destination as soon as you start your travel day. If for example you are traveling from Canada to Denmark Sunday 5pm, think it is already 2pm in the afternoon as soon as you wake up, and sync your activities (lunch, sleep, coffee, etc) to the destionation timezone. It's so effective I reduce jet lag to not even be noticeable anymore.

Not a missed opportunity with your kids they are slightly too young, memory retention isn’t quite there yet. I took my kids to Canada’s Wonderland all the way from New Zealand just last June, they are 9 and 6 so that was a perfect age for a big trip like that, we will have to go again in 5 years when they are tall enough for the big rides. They love coming to Canada this last trip we did Vancouver, Calgary and Toronto 🇨🇦 🇳🇿

I am so happy for you! What an exhilarating adventure to be on. And how cool was that to see your name and channel featured front and center?! You have come so far in your LEGO journey. I am incredibly proud of you and all that you have accomplished. Have a great trip. I cannot wait to see everything you have in store for the channel and for us. Take care, my friend.

you talk about how expense the flights are, but I bet they would be probably half that if you flew to Copenhagen. It's an easy drive and Copenhagen is beautiful city worth spending some time in. When we went to Billund we flew to Copenhagen and rented a car. it was considerable cheaper for the 3 of us. We then drove back to Copenhagen & dropped the car off before spending several days exploring Copenhagen.

Have you considered implementing lights in your cityscape? You have the LED-strips in the ceiling at home to create a evening scene. I guess it can be done fairly easy (and cheap?) if you do the soldering yourself? Small LEDs inside bricks/cylinders and wireing. Just a thought.

Cool video, I always enjoy your excitement on these visits. One thing I noticed in the massive Lego city build that looked so amazing and could be a great story to add to your city. They had a fire truck fighting a building fire and the building had a hole in the side. I think the design is transferrable and scalable and I think adds some added purpose for the firetrucks in the city.

I heard from many people that Lego Land in Denmark was quite disappointing and wasn't like many people expected it to be. But maybe this is more for younger children and you can't really compare it with Disney or the Efteling. But for a Lego fan of course it's go no matter what. Great to hear you had a good time. I was wondering: Are you also going to Lego World next month in the Netherlands?
