I made a build to put eyes on the Fell Beast and have the pieces needed posted on my community tab and will showing it off on my own channel once I get the eye pieces tomorrow. Also the Fell Beast goes for an average of about $350 (based on the low end of $150 and high end of $500 from what I saw online)

LEGO baffles me with some of their decisions. How do you make this GWP only available for a couple of days? Now it’s worth a ridiculous amount and so many customers missed out.

I don't think I'll ever build my fellbeast. The price to peice ratio is beyond anything else I own. $200au for 268 peices.. Can get a dune ornithopter for that price.

I took my fell beast off its stand and using fishing line i hung it up from the ceiling above Barad Dur like if it is flying around.

I got the promo today but Lego screwed me over since I bought Barad-Dur within the first 10 minutes on the 31st (my time zone has it launch at the end of the previous day) and they put my order on backorder even though I was told that it was ready to ship the day before since i called about them not sending my set out within 2 business days because I paid for express shipping.

I hate this so much. I can’t buy lotr sets as a new fan because I missed out on the old sets, even the smallest of them are hella expensive. The theme returns and now every set is expensive, a brickhead or locked behind a gwp. I can’t even build mocs because minifigures on their own will cost more than whatever I build.

The more I look at this GWP, the more I am happy with it. This is the right (ish) way to do a GWP. It's 100% replicable without too much fuss (yes yes, wings are exclusive, but there are 1000 ways to do them with either pieces or other dragon wings or just custom material pieces) and the Nazgul is something they can easily add down the road in another set (hopefully) so we can get 9 of them ... It did need a couple of prints for the sides of the head.

@@logansmith2703 the minifig torso will be reused (I am sure of that - give them another LOTR set ) and the wings are not plastic cubes.. You can make them out of fancy paper (also there are so many people putting out great lego compaticle flags and other elements of great quality. If leg don't make it, people will . I do prefer this over the set with a unique minifg torso (and nothing else interesting) that we might want to army build.
