Rivendell is my favorite. I'm really hoping for Hobbiton next year, but I have a feeling we'll get Minas Tirith. I don't want to spend a ton of money on just a castle, even if it is the big LotR one, so I'd have to pass on it.

I have every single Lego Lord of the Rings set, and these are my top 10: 1) The Battle of Helms Deep 2) The Tower of Orthanc 3) The Mines of Moria 4) Pirate ship Ambush 5) The Battle at the Black Gate 6) Uruk-Hai Army 7) The Orc Forge 8) Shelob Attacks 9) Attack on Weathertop 10) Gandalf Arrives An Unexpected Gathering and The Lonely Mountain are also a couple of my favorite sets, but they are Hobbit, which I have as well.

@@Spacejuno it’s not a flex man, some people do have more disposable money than others. Could be age, location or anything. Brody is a good dude whose comments regularly on my lotr videos. I ask in the video if you agree / disagree with my ranking. Brody went hard and gave us a full top 10. I don’t own ever lotr or hobbit set. Only around 5 of them - but I’m still happy and don’t resent Brody for this. I like my collection the way it is! Everyone collects at different paces.

Nice video! Rivendell is also my favorite of all the sets released. I decided not to get Barad Dur but the fell beast would be cool to use in some of my stop motions! If we get Minas Tirith my guess is that it will be half of the “cake” allowing for them to get super detailed with scale while still staying around the 4-5 hundred mark. Then the folks who want the whole thing can get two and combine them. Similar to the Egyptian pyramid set.

My favorite Lotr sets are definitely Rivendell, Barad-dur and Orthanc. And I’ve modded my Rivendell and my barad-dur there amazing. Rivendell is now using over 10,000 pieces while barad-dur is now using over 7000 pieces. 😄 hope to see more even more Lotr sets In the future and some smaller ones. We miss them haha 🥲
