I wish they stopped putting lloyd in like every set. I think it would’ve made this set way more desirable if they put a remade karlof, or legacy 2 zane, or even chen or an anacondrai warrior in it instead of yet another lloyd.

The production line would have made to many Lloyds and told the designers that he had to be in a certain number of sets, the designers are not to blame.

If you count, more often than not Kai comes in more sets than anyone and it really annoys me. Even if the season’s main character is someone else, Kai always has more figs in each wave.

I don't think individual themes would be revived for the sake of legacy sets. Legacy works for ninjago because the fanbase is stupid big and kids want older sets (the show helps a lot here). I do think that a Lego "Legacy" theme that redesigns sets from multiple dead themes could work. So there wouldn't be a specific revival of a single theme, instead they would bring stuff back from multiple themes

This is a true legacy set, it improves apon the original in every way definitely buying this set. I am going to buy the tournament of elements set and Lloyds jungle raider. I would say jay's storm fighter and Zane's Titan mech embody that true legacy feel,the thunder raider destiny's bounty and the monastery.

The new canopy piece looks amazing to me, it really helps to round out the shaping and the color scheme of the model. Also, the legacy golden Kai figure is great in my opinion!

LEGO is really making some poor decisions when it comes to Ninjago minifigs (lack of printing, who to include, reused prints), but a lot of the builds are phenomenal!

I always felt like Cole's vehicles were some of the best from the beginning. The Tread Assault, the Earth Driller, the Rock Roader, and this. They just integrated good play functions into good designs so well.

The Roto jet looks amazing, but I would have liked it that instead that it came with Jungle Lloyd, Eyezor and the small jail build, I would have prefered that it came with ANOTHER anacondrai bad guy, some elemental master (preferely Karlof of Jay) with the Factory suit and instead of the jail i would prefer some kind of bridge from where cole jumps into the roto jet, overall amazing set but these changes would have made the set so much better and it would't have to change the price

Fun fact, you can actually lock the play feature by loading one of the bolts into that tire rim piece that shoots them. it's nice to do this if you get the set to just display it

So I got the set "The Rexcelsior" a few months ago. When I got home I realized that it was returned. I opened it and the person who had it before built the set, took it apart just enough that it would fit in the box, and returned it. The worst thing is I saw the person return it a week earlier. :(
