Fantastic episode first episode of your new season, I enjoyed it. I really like how this episode focused a lot on Jay and I like how you made him a character we can emphasize with from the start of the episode. On another note, the ending was quite interesting and a bit spooky and I'm excited to see more of Yakunan in this season as well. Yakunan seems intriguing and I really like the way he talks in rhymes. Anyway, my favorite suits from the Ninjago would be the Airjitzu suits and the Hunted suits. Lastly, I apologize if Sounded random, rude, or anything.

This looks awesome! The stopmotion is incredible! And I'd have to say my favorite wave with the suits has to be Rise of the Snakes, so great looking, so unique and individualised for each ninja, but still connected as a team, and so extremely nostalgic. But that's just my opinion. Can't wait for next episode!

Yakunan is giving me some classic 1990's ninja vibes and I LOVE IT! Great start to the season, I'm intrigued to see where it goes from here. As for the comment question, years 2016-2018 had some phenomenal ninja suit designs. If I had to choose one I'd say 2017 cuz of how incredibly detailed the Fusion suits were.

My favorite ninja suits are the ones from season 2. Those are just the best in my opinion.

This is a return to form. But in the best possible way. These ninja are brightly colored. Their suits are classically styled. We’re at a point in the timeline where the ninja can live freely, where they can train in peace without a great threat. We get a slice of life at the beginning of this episode, with things returning to normal. The ninja train and live and love. Though for one ninja, things aren’t normal. They’re far from it. This feels like Piracy, but with a villain who has a much more nuanced form of manipulation informed by the failures of those in the past. It’s like classic DTinaglia Studios, but with the ascended visuals and stories of modern DT. One minor complaint: continuity issue. The lights shut off twice. All hail Yakunan. Here’s to hoping he’s one of the best villains.
