Regarding the black pins in the legs, you would assume you'd notice the mistake when you keep some of these after building (I did), but as they are generally supplied as spare parts they can be easily discarded after the build

That 2x4 slope piece comes off a lot for me when transforming causing the torso to come off. Seems like it needs a better structure than one piece holding the two halves together..

Cool fixes. Relieved it was only a minor building mistake, and not an actual production oversight. Would hate for Lego have missed something that would altogether compromise the stability of the figure as it's supposed to be able to be displayed free standing. Also never understood the purpose of pivoting the gas tanks in robot mode until actually seeing it in person as they allow free rotation of the legs. Any chance of seeing a fix for the knees?

The pivoting of the gas tank while it does allow for leg rotation is primarily for show accuracy as it's rotated on his robot node design.

Wow, I had 1 leg always falling and, indeed, I forgot the black pin on this one. The others fixes are very nice also, although I already did the one with the fingers. Now if only I could get a fix for his loosy elbow so that he can hold his gun, it would be nice.

Iv'e not had issues with the legs. What would be great is a way to mod the chest to look less square and more cartoon accurate. But i mean i get it that's its modeled after the toy so it's whatever.

Is there a guide to give the character some knees? My biggest annoyance with modern Lego is the lack of knees on mechs, even though they can easily add them and not hamper stability and looks.

I have a query about the arms folding into the side of Optimus when changing into vehicle form. Mine did not seem as if it was assembled properly, and the side panels did not seem to have a smooth fit. What should I be checking in the area where the shoulder joints attach to the chest?

The only Problem I have with my Optimus is the Hip to Torso connection. It slips out very easy. The only cross connection comes from the Grill part that easily disconnects for me when handling the Model. So it usually hangs by the Yellow axle since the Brick connection fails.

Renove the turntable. Make a base with tiles. Replace the round brick with the one with pinholes on the four sides and cross axle hole in the center. Your waist will never ever break again. The original attachment is far too rigid and needs to transfer the tension to the axle.

First, pet peeve: it's "lose," not "loose." Second, my problem is not addressed in this video. The 1x4 plate running across the tops of the feet, with the transparent orange 1x2 on top, gets pushed off by the model's weight because it's forward heavy in robot mode. I triple checked the instructions on the feet, and everything is built correctly. Did I miss something else?

Thanks, updated the title. About the 1x4 plate, mine only gets pushed off in certain leg positions, it stays in place when the robot is standing vertically.

Thanks for that. I'm a fan of transformers and I was thinking to buy that set for myself but I see is not really god. Eyes should be made love like a LED lights and range of motion for legs and arms should be way better. That is an ICON for transformers but this Lego set is rubbish, unfortunately.

The problem I have with Lego Optimus is that all the articulations it has, go too smooth after some time. If I try arming him with his blaster and put him in a cool pose, his arm bends down 90 degrees.If someone has the same problem, all help will be appreciated.
