As one of the biggest Zelda fans in the community, this is my dream theme. There are very few themes that I would go out of my way to buy every single set and Zelda is one of them.

I don't buy much Lego and haven't for years because it's quite expensive and it's not really worth it but if there were even one Zelda set for $500 I'd buy it. My favourite colour was green for years because of link. My favourite game ever created is Ocarina of time, the first time I played ocarina of time was on an account that me and my siblings shared and I had no clue what I was doing so I skipped all the dialogue, it took me and my siblings 2 years to beat it as when we finally became adult link we were so scared of the monsters outside the forest temple that we actually trying packaging up the game and giving it away. I've played almost every Zelda game (including the obscure ones and a Lego set would be the best. I remember supporting the Ocarina of time castle set years ago and I'm so sad it didn't get picked because it was so good.

Oh man, Splatoon sets would be a dream. All of that urban scenery in lego would be so cool, and the minifigures with their little weapons too. They can reuse the molds and just repaint them to make different colored inklings, I would still buy them all.

See the crazy thing is that they could probably get away with most of the Inkling and Octoling outfits in other themes since they're modern. Always beneficial for LEGO if they can get away with that.

honestly, I'd be surprised if Lego and Nintendo haven't talked about it. Lego's Horizen set, as you mentioned, has overwhelmingly positive reviews and while this is anecdotal, I haven't seen much negativity around the Sonic set besides price. Splatoon and Zelda would be perfect themes for Lego if they go with minifig sets with play features based on the game and would be one of the biggest wasted opportunities ever for Lego if they didn't go through with it. Given that they're already partners with Nintendo, I could honestly see them making Zelda sets next summer and maybe Splatoon in the fall/2024

As a Zelda Fan, I would like Nintendo and LEGO to make an anniversary set sometime if it officially happens where we have the memorable scenes of the first couple Zelda games Examples: getting the sword from the old man LoTZ, Master sword retrieval or Meeting Zelda, any of OoTs scenes and maybe even more

I've also always felt the OoT Hyrule Castle would be the perfect one to start out with when it comes to making huge Zelda sets. Not just because of OoT, but because it's also a Smash stage too!

I would love to see a legofied version of DJ Octavio's boss fight in 1, Tartar's fight in Octo Expansion, or Grizz's fight in 3. It'd also be cool to have just a recreation of a battle map with 4 minifigures on each side with some colored pieces as ink. Hell, even just a buildable Inkling or Octoling would be neat.

I’d adore the urban settings, but I’d also love to see story stuff like the NILS Statue or even large build able figures of the bosses, like an Octostomp whos tentacle pops out when it’s face is pressed in, or an Octo Samurai with regular and rollercycle modes. Lego Splatoon would be amazing if it were done with the story mode, like the DJ Octavio bot, or the Alterna Rocket (We’ve seen a rocket build for Overwatch already so it can be done), or Tartar’s Statues, but it would also be cool to have like a big Splatsville Square kind of build or like staple part of a stage, like the giant spinners in the Museum d’Alfonsino stage. I would also be excited to see the creativity in how they build the ink-based weaponry associated with the game. One downside I am thinking of is that, for a game with spray paint and splat marks as a big part of their style, there would be a lot of stickers in the sets. I am still very excited though.

I could see a wide range of sets, on the ultra expensive $1,000+ sets, there's Castletown, Clocktown+Moon, Ganon's Castle (puzzles included), Death Mountain, Zora's Domain, the Divine Beasts, and pretty much any dungeon in the franchise, then on the low $30- price end, there are a variety of monster camps, mini dungeons, item shops, boss rooms, bridges, grottos, etc. and plenty of in between for sets of literally any price range in between (variable levels of detail would obviously go along with that) The only thing that might hinder it from a marketing perspective is the similarities and overlap with LEGO's existing castle sets, as it does create a (slight) challenge to make things like Hyrule Castle stand out from all of the existing castle sets (that said, there are still plenty of sets they could do that are not castle related that could still work) on the other hand, it would also be easy to reuse a lot of molds. In any case, I do hope they do something with it.

Zelda - For sheer nostalgia reasons, Dragon Roost Island. But something based on Twilight Princess's version of Hyrule Castle feels a bit more likely and would look gorgeous. Splatoon - I have some love for Marooner's Bay - The wrecked, rusted, tanker (Is it a tanker? I think it's a tanker but now I'm not so sure) is a striking visual, and was my favourite Salmon map back in 2. Moray Towers feels more likely due to that seemingly being the default location of Splatoon to get referenced elsewhere, and it's one of the more iconic Splatoon maps. It's just a shame it's absolute trash to play (but, hey, with it not being in S3 yet, that's got to hurt its chances, right?)

It'd be super cool if they mixed the Lego Splatoon sets with something like Tabletop Turf Cards from Splatoon 3! I could imagine the sets working like: they release 4-8 sets with 1-2 minifigs in each set, 4 of each color. They combine to make one huge set that can be used to play actual turf wars using the cards to determine what pattern the players put down. I could also see maybe a Salmon Run theme or sets based on the story modes that could focus more on play features instead of a physical turf war gimmick. As for Zelda sets, I would love some based on in game locations, either based on Breath of the Wild or Tears of the Kingdom. I could totally see them making small sets based on Monster camps or certain boss monster fights, like Hinox, Lynel, and Talus; or even a medium sized set with a Stal enemy attack with a bunch of skeletal enemy variants. They could release a few larger sets based on shrines, the Divine Beasts, or even the stable sets I've seen floating around. And then if course they could have the massive Hyrule castle set. I could even see them making Bionicle models of the Blights and Ganon since they have a very mechanical look to them. If they did come out with sets like these I'd absolutely get back into Lego now that I have some spending money as an adult!

I feel like mega would make good splatoon sets because of there ways of making their figures posable and could fit perfectly with gear and weapons. Inklings are know to be flimsy and bendy with parts of there body's because they do have bones. They do alot of poses so that could make a good mega theme related splatoon. And mega also has peices that lego have nevered done that could fit good with he builds and structure of certain buildings or play areas. Just like the tmnt training set

For splatoon, you could design a map as a "grid" and have every 6 by 6 or so be one unit/tile. Have there be a some sort of trigger so you can flip those units/tiles upside down to change what team has zone control. For walls it's a bit tougher to explain, but have the be made of flat 2 by 2's with only one stud on it (for an easier time switching colored bricks).

I've been stumped as to which scale the Divine Beasts should be, honestly. Should they be microscale but detailed, or large playsets? They're all so similar in color (even tho certainly shaped differently) that I'm not sure if playsets would work. They wouldn't include all their cool puzzles tho, that's for sure. Now, as for the Blights tho, I think LEGO would just make their battles their own sets. I'll take whatever I can get.

tbh I wouldn't be upset of mea construx got the licenses for zelda or splatoon. Especially with Pokemon and Halo, Mega Construx has shown a great ability to make reasonably priced, highly articulated sets even with wonkey proportions. And at sizes which lego would probably struggle with. On top of that their small ball socket connections have much more friction than lego's which makes them amazing as toys and for animation. Honestly I think I would even prefer if Mega cont the license.

Legend of Zelda LEGO SET Ideas (mainly based on Breath of the Wild): Hyrule Castle Temple of Time Final battle scene with Calamity Ganon Zora’s Domain Goron City Rito Village Gerudo Town Each of the Divine Beasts Towers Shrines Stables Villages Miniature fight scenes with Bokoblins, Lynels, Guardians, etc. There are so many more ideas and this would be an incredibly lucrative theme series, especially with Tears of the Kingdom finally here. LEGO has no excuse to neglect this genius franchise and it is a missed opportunity for them. Much hope that some of these sets begin to be approved.

I wouldn't be surprised if they're holding out until Spring's release of TotK, and they'll make the first few waves about that game and BotW, with some fan favorites sprinkled here and there.

I wouldn't be shocked if its purely BotW based. Would still be enjoyed thoroughly by new fans from TotK thanks to them sharing the same world!

Oh man I’d MURDER for a D2C Inkopolis Square/Plaza that you can alternate between regular look and splatfest look. You can have vignettes based on PvP levels like Overwatch but also little segments inspired by the single player campaign. And you could tooootally Gamify the whole thing based on covering the studs with ink tiles in a manner similar to the tableturf minigame from Splat3. Heck, knowing Lego they can even throw some AR in there where you scan it from above and a Lego Judd and lil Judd give you the final score

It's an official image. LEGO doesn't tease sets or themes in other sets. Zelda and Link being on the book is an assumption, but the likeness is uncanny.

Botw sets: the broken down temple of time, any or all of the divine beasts, hyrule castle, an entire detailed 3D lego botw map, a battle with a lynel or guardian, the list goes on

I'm not a fan of licensed themes, but I would love to see LEGO Splatoon. Could have a Minifigure series and/or Minifigure packs (similar to the old Sports sets). The small and mid-range sets could be based on the interiors of the different shops or levels/boss fights of the single-player. The larger sets could be the multiplayer maps. And the hub would be a great direct-to-consumer set. Just the minifigure parts could be a huge draw for Splatoon fans. Making your in-game Inkling/Octoling from the parts included in different sets.

Guardians, the Devine beasts, and shrines for Zelda And Hero mode site 1, main plaza, and port mackerel for splatoon (Also just think of the potential for splat fest sets)
