Love this video. My mum is Danish and remember going to this park as a kid...the original Legoland. Lego Canoe and the Pirate Boat Ride...so gd to see they are still there. I was 7 and now 33 🤣 People don't realise lego originated in Denmark. A tiny but amazing country 😍

Absolutely loved this series! Your behind the scene video was amazing too. Funny how it seems to be the Merlin parks not open late enough and encounter problems. (Chessington is my local) but yet other parks seem to run so much better and seem to be a better day out. Your blogs really make me want to travel to these parks, so thank you!

This is one impressive heavily themed Legoland Park with loads of amazing facades brilliant vibrant colourschemes including the fun immersive really cool animatronics throughout it's so interesting to see the sculptures mini lands too, it's such a shame on ride POV were forbidden but overall I just love enjoying all of your vlogs with your skilled captured off ride footage content, Thank you for sharing, great to see you both having so much fun embracing every moment of your Denmark Trip together, I'm hopeful that maybe one day our theme parks could somehow be inspired by these amazing European fun parks invest in similar qualities quantities of theming, attractions, layouts

You’ll find we Danes have a high standard for theme park food. Bakken and Tivoli all have the quality of food you’d get outside for the same price if not better. The fish and chips in the Chinese section at Tivoli are also amazing

I would love to visit this park at somepoint, i love Legoland Windsor been going ever since i was a child but havnt been since October in 2019 and still yet to try out Lego Mythica will definatley have to make a visit when the coaster is ready tp try them both out. Went to the park when it first opened with the family it's got great themes throughout the rides are really fun and mini land is wonderful. The only downside is park hours too short and some of the staff are not very friendly. But now with more there would like to go back .

Yeah, the new Lego headquarters only opened a few weeks ago. It’s a really nice building, I love the large room at the top that looks like a brick built over the edge of the building.

I’ve always said that as well if they stayed opened there get more people spending because your have dinner there. End up spending so much money on ride and reserve just so you can spend time looking at mini land

This is my homepark, so prepare for a long comment.. I am so glad that you liked this place so much! I go agree on Merlins hours and sometimes capacity is rubbish, however i can almost promise that there must have been something wrong with the other train of Polar! I heard it valleyed a few days before and Polar is never running 1 train even when the ride is walk-on The boat ride there did get a makeover this year, however its an old classic of the park! Interresting to hear you liked the water rides and Ghost so much. I personally Arent a big fan of any of these 3 as i find viking to be way too controlled and canoe to have an underwhelming drop and being a little slow for the amount of theming. With ghost however you kind of made me see the good in it, as my only reason for trashing on it was the fact that it replaced a classic i loved. Have you ridden a Technical Park Aerobat? If not, you really missed something with Apocalypseburg Skybattle as it is much more dynamic than the gerst. You should deffenitely make it a priotize on your next visit. And also with Ice Pilot School. Did you know you design your own ride on that one? If that is the same case with the one you have done, I can see why you gave it a miss. But if not, deffenitely do that next time as well, and try the code: 58 62 64 65! Cheers!

@@lindatannock I agree that POV's make rides more safe for people who may be scared to not know what the actual ride comprises of. The signage is not always telling people that there are X twists on the track, Yover-head situations, and z elements of water getting sprayed or pyrotechnics. Merlin wants to prevent Go Pro's falling off rides, I guess, it may also be about licensing reasons. Some attractions used licensed themes and music and maybe that makes it difficult for the parks to officially allow filming?

The closest Lego.park to me is New York but it only has rides for younger children. My 12yo still loves Legos but it needs some better rides for older kids like this park.

Workers in Legoland Deutschland told me that you can film the darkride section in 'The dragon', only not the coaster itself. I'm not a huge fan of the legolands because of their frustrating entrance (no pré- open place to have a calm entrance at 10 where you can drink a coffee before it opens) and closing rides before the park closes. I'm not a fan of that. Legoland has a very unique theming. But to me, Legoland is a bit overrated for what it is. It can be a kids/ family park... I love them. But Legoland askes alot of money for the entrance, but what you get in return is a small park with some very good themed rides. Even with Legoland in Germany being the best one for thrills of all the Legolands... it's still overrated because of the name 'Lego.

Blackstone capital who owned Merlin entertainment bought a majority stake in Legoland parks back in 2005. But in 2019 Kirkbi A/S, which is owned by the same family that owns the Lego group, aqquired a majority stake in the whole of Merlin Entertainment. So yeah make what you will of that.

Too early in the season sadly. But I wouldn't be surprised if Shawn returns, he already mentioned the possibility in the Fårup vlog. But yeah it'd be great to see Shawn return in the summer, either this year or next year. I mean beyond Djurs there's also many other parks like Tivoli Friheden and BonBon land, that'd be well worth a visit. Heck that could perhaps even be combined with a hop across the national borders to either Liseberg or Hansa park.
