I just got a Hyundai accent and it has a couple things , the horn does not work , the power outlets and the gas gauge , was wondering if you could help me diagnose those problems , besides that I got a decent 2008 with only 143k miles today for 1.6k

My problem seems to be that between the green pin on the fuel pump harness, there is no continuity to the corresponding line at the relay terminal. I had intermittent starting problem and trying again a few times it worked but now it’s dead. 12v applied directly at the relay socket doesn’t reach at the back. The ground wire is continuing to body. Strange... well! This might end up with a jumper cable between the relay and the back of the car. 😅

Great starting point for me. Checked everything you mentioned power all the way to the pump but still no start. I jump the relay as you mentioned putting direct power to the pump and I can hear the pump running. Again, no start. Spark checked okay on all coil. Not sure what else it could be. Thanks for the video.

Check fuel pump shut off switch, (red button switch either under glove compartment on the passenger side, trunk, or in the engine compartment) very common with these cars.

Amazing video u helped me and my hubby tons we had a Ford fuse in our fuel injection spot and someone actually cut a prong off of it to make it fit we didn't hear fuel pump cut on or hum when turning key so dad checked fuse and its bad before it kept throwing fuel vapor light and check engine light got new gas cap and crank sensor bc still had issues car ran fine one day and then next won't start at all new battery also still having issues etc. But we can't find FP fuse at any auto store big pain In ass ur video helped alot actually was able to see numbers when u pulled out fuse I'm gonna Google it see what fuse I need ty..... alsob any thoughts as to what would be wrong why car won't fire or start ect I would appreciate you we have put more money into this Lil car and I swear always seems to be something 😆😵🙄 its a 2011 hyundai accent gsi 1.5

What happen if you take out the pressure fuel line and it doesn’t have fuel or pressure?

Once you release the fuel pressure this way, reattach it to the fuel pump hose, put key in start position while having someone listen with an ear near the pump and see it it cuts on - you'll hear it. Once the fuel pump pressurizes the fuel line it shuts off and you won't be able to hear it running with an ear next to it at that point.

i took my relay out and the car NEVER shut off on the hyundai accent rb. Going to take the fuse out with the relay and see what happens.
