Leihlo la Sechaba - Prison violence

In a bid to rehabilitate hardened criminals, who are violent and disruptive in open facilities, the Department of Correctional Services operates a Super Maximum facility in Kokstad in Kwazulu-Natal. The Ebongweni facility accommodates about a thousand offenders who misbehave and even stab officials and other offenders in open prisons. Has the country found a solution to rehabilitate even some of the most dangerous inmates?
