thank you very much for sharing this, that's very helpful. And I've this way in my WPS Office, it also worked out and even by less steps! I just need to select the cell range> click "highlight dplicates"> choose "remove duplicates".

Hi Leila. Great tips for removing duplicates from a data set. A fourth option is to use Advanced Filter and check "unique". These days, the UNIQUE function and Power Query are the goto methods for maximum flexibility and for dynamic results. Good to know many methods though. Did I get the job? Haha!! Thanks for the video :)) Thumbs up!! PS - Great reminder about case sensitivity in Power Query vs. other methods.. easy to forget that distinction.

Brilliant. Never knew about the UNIQUE function. That's the way to go I think if Excel version of the userbase permits. Saves Macros and setting of the Table refresh features. Nice one Leila.

Thanks Leila for the interesting lesson :-) One little note about PQ case - you don't need to add a step..... you can add second argument of Table.Distinct function. In this case it will be something like this below. = Table.Distinct(#"Changed Type", Comparer.OrdinalIgnoreCase)

This is very helpful, thanks. For the second method, you referenced the name of your table by hovering over the top left corner of the sheet. How did you name the table?

After you created the table, click anywhere inside that table. This will bring up the tab "Table Design" in the ribbon. All the way on the left you'll see Table name. Simply click in the box below and overwrite with the name you want.
