The truth is , no award, no medal, no money, nothing could ever compensate Lek and all the carers for what they do to save and protect our elephants. What a brilliant idea and a deserving one too. I watch several elephant sanctuary videos and they all do selfless outstanding work for their rescued elephants, no question, but there is something about Lek and her love that fascinates me. Consider how many elephant camps use prods and hooks to control elephants. Lek sings them lullabies and gently leads them with love back to their shelter for the night.

This could move even the most hardened cynical heart to tears. What Lek has with our elephants is not only rare, but profound on so many levels. After what the majority of humanity has done to the elephants to still have some who learn to retrust and relove again when it is given, is a gift we don't deserve yet they continue to give it. As long as Lek is around, i know the ele's of the world are in the best hands. the relationship she has with fa mai is remarkable. i don't think most people realize how special that bond is. elephants are emotionally equal to if not more intelligent than humans, they are completely aware of relationships, trust, and have the same sense of loss and compassion we do. to see fa mai with lek should prove to anyone who still doubts just how important and similar they are to us. lek will forever be protected by these gentle giants as long as she lives due to her selfless love and gifts to them. please may god continue to bless lek, the carers, and all those helping heal our ele's who trust us enough to give them their deserved second chance at living the best lives they have always deserved. they all have given the gift of love to the elephants, and for that, they will forever remain grateful and secure.

It's peanut he's a rescued dog and is old when Navann was a baby peanut and him would play ,and rescued dog's all mahout's adopt one he stay's with the family but goes to work with him everyday all the elephant's consider him family as they interact daily for years ,peanut is even allowed to ride in the rear basket of Lek's bike and FAA Mai has known him all her life.

Lek is just as jealous of the elephants' love and affection as they are of hers. I know this after watching her chase away a worker who was being cuddled by a baby elephant. I was so surprised when I heard her tell the worker "that's enough, you can go now."

I personally don't see why it's a big deal, these Elephants need human love after the hell they've been thru! Lek can't give them all the attention they want and need and if the Elephants need a hug or just a loving pat then Lek shouldn't be jealous! I love Lek but I bet she can be hard to work for.

Thong AE she's precious and one of my very favorite fantys that Lek cares for. I just adore the toddler to teenage years of these beautiful beasts. I love her quack noises she sounds like a duck. Boy if you heard that at a park you'd definitely get a huge sized shock when you see an elephant 🐘💙🐘 making the quack noises and not it coming from a duck 🦆. I wonder that the ducks 🦆 would think about it all. Haha I adore how Faa Mai loves on her she pulls her under her front legs like she's protecting her baby fant Lek, Lek is Faa Mai's baby. Super cute how she pets her on her head to be sure she's there and knows that she's wanted there. Kind of like how a father pats his son in the top of his ball cap 🧢 to acknowledge he's right there. Elephant behavior is so similar to humans it's just undeniable that they are full of wisdom and have lots of emotional feelings and understanding of their world. Just can't understand the mean cruel behavior that so many elephants have to experience at the hands of some evil human beings. They belong in the wild or even better places like this where they have lots of freedom yet have helping hands from humans to help keep them safe and well. Good to have eyes out for things that require a veterinarian. Can't easily do that in the full wild. I'd love to see all elephants have this kind of life vs. a horrible zoo or in the true wild where predators can get and kill the sick, weak or young elephants. Thanks Lek and crew for all you do. Would love to see an update video on Thong AE and all her friends. Sure is fun to see Derrick with the teenage elephants too. Lek and Derrick should do a video together with their fanty family. That would be super fun to see. I vote for it ASAP! Haha
