Je n'ai jamais entedu parler de ce compositeur ni entendu ses oeuvres. Il est vraiment l'enfant de cet ère plein d'innovations et de révolutions scientifiques, spirituelles et intellectuelles. Parfois cette musique ressemble à la musique soulignant des moments dramatiques dans les films soit muets ou à son. C'est en tout cas une musique très expressive et douce à la fois. Merci beaucoup pour l'avoir mise à la connaissance d'un public plus large.

Wunderschöne Interpretation dieser beiden spätromantischen und perfekt komponierten Meisterwerke in verschiedenen Tempi mit klarem Klang des Klaviers, seidigem Ton der Violine und tiefem Ton des Violoncellos. Die intime und perfekt entsprechende Miteinanderwirkung zwischen den allen Virtuosen ist wahrlich ergreifend. Alles ist wundervoll!

On a dit de la sonate de Lekeu qu'elle aurait pu fournir le modèle à la "petite phrase" de la sonate de Vinteuil dans "Un amour de Swann". Quoi qu'il en soit, elle a l'élégance et le raffinement du monde proustien. Merci Brillant Classics de nous y faire entrer avec ce bel enregistrement.
