No wonder Nigerian youths are schooling in Ghana at an alarming rate and they shower praises on Ghana for so many things. Be it security, easy admission to universities, electricity etc. Now I understand why they enjoy life in Ghana. Why should it be a crime to carry a laptop computer or an iPhone? Very ridiculous indeed.

Not only in Ghana , am telling you they are Pouring in my country( Tanzania 🇹🇿) the Nigeria government is so sad I swear , but why they keep voting for them tho??? Nigerian youth I thought they make noise online that are so smart , what’s going on in their own county ? Sad but anyways let me hush 🤫
@notjustbaggish3 жыл бұрын
@@htx1873 Some youths are stupid by voting but majority of the votes come from rigging by the collusion of the incumbent government and electoral office. 2. Nigeria is a contraption of plural nations, so it is in the interest of a violent group from the north to keep power and rule others.

Thank you Michael for helping this community in Akure. What went through my mind about this story is what the state Governor is doing. This community has a Senator and a member at the House of Representatives. What are they doing for this poor community. Big shame on them. A very simple thing they can for the community they represent, it was a youth copper from another state that came to sort the problem while the law makers and the state government failed this poor community. Shame!!!!!

@Ike Naija Sincerely speaking, is this an honest indictment of the bereaved families or an attempt to deny the fact that people really died? Or to add insult to injury, a baseless and frivolous attempt to malign them. Either ways, it’s cruel and callous, because we all know the truth. People actually died. And indeed, we have seen family members on TV actually grieving. One thing you must know is, the poor masses of this country, have a very deep mistrust of our so-called leaders, politicians and government officials. Evidently, they have learned through the hard way. Arising from that, they are very reluctant to come forward. They wouldn’t be sure if that will not be another Pandora box, whose opening will lead to their arrested, incarceration and mistreatment. Which is very possible in the Nigeria we live and know. We must learn to keep our comments within sensible and reasonable bounds. Sometimes, we can be so insensitive.

I am just a medical student in the University of Ilorin going home(Okuku,Osun state) to check up on my mum who was admitted to a hospital on account of complications of diabetes mellitus. My phone was almost off and I didn't have my power bank with me, so I turned on my laptop to charge my phone. And to my amazement, a fair skinned police man yelled at me to get off the bus and bring my laptop. Even after I showed him evidences of being just a poor medical student, their "potbellied" boss still asked me for 500 naira. Can you imagine?(In Adeola's voice). I pleaded with this policeman but he didn't even bat an eyelid. Until one Alhaji gave them 500 naira. I now know that the Nigeria police force is a great threat to us Nigerians.

Adeola, I love that last story. But guess what, such villages are just one attack away from being wiped out by “bandits”. I had a lot f pity for the people and all other people living in isolated villages in Nigeria. They are cut off from electricity, mobile telecommunication, water, security, and healthcare.
@abioduna.12413 жыл бұрын
Like, how many Osaretin do we need? How many need to go round to villages? We are so dependent on NGO that our government no longer take responsibility for anything. Everyone deserves basic amenities and no village should be isolated from these things. I love the chap but did we need to wait for him to be posted there before they got help? How sustainable is help from individual or charitable donor as against that which comes from the government? One way villages like this can be continually taken care of by charitable organizations is if some religious organizations, say churches take it upon themselves. That is partially sustainable. But the best way to keep communities like this connected to the real world is to have responsible government in power.
