As I watch you listen to the hymns, and see that you are moved by these hymns, I pray for you, hoping that the message of Jesus touches your heart, and that you trust Him as your savior. Everytime I listen to Steven Curtis Chapman, I pray for you. Same with 2nd Chapter Of Acts, and Amy Grant. Your playing has always inspired and influanced me of how I play bass, and I appreciate you in so many ways. Thanks for your great music, and Merry Christmas to you and your household.

It bought tears to my eyes hearing these hymns that have meant so much for so many years and I just knew that the last track would be ‘Just As I Am’. There is something uniquely special hearing incredible words in songs that have links to beautiful memories. Thank you Lee. 🙏🙏

Hi Steven! I remember singing old hymns in church as a kid. My mom would sing them while working around the house. I still know so many of them. Just As Iam was most every sunday

@ Hi Sue l hope you are well. I love Just As I Am because it renewed my faith years ago. I will be honest and say that I am a believer and these songs today really touched me. There is absolutely nothing wrong with crying because it washes the soul and today’s music just made me cry but in a good way. I won’t get all philosophical and emotional but these songs are very special and they touch the soul irrespective of what any of us believe in.🙏🙏

Hi Steven, I know at least a thousand of these. In four parts a capela. Sometimes I mix up which part comes in which order and end up whenever I'm with a friend in these times accidentally singing the bass part on the soprano octave and realizing how I goofed up when I suddenly remember the staccato layer starts doing an exchange with the basses. I find myself woodshedding to the tenor part sometimes that way as well and didn't used to do that when I could peek.

@@splashesin8Hi Audrey. It is so nice to hear that you know so many of these and able to sing them as you do. l remember one day sitting and listening to a Fijian choir perform these songs and most in their native language and it was magnificent. The great thing about hymns is they never leave your memory.🙏🙏

Hi Lee and Merry Christmas from Finland! You mentioned in one of your videos way back of making a video about health issues and playing and how you deal with them. In case you have talked about it in some video, I've missed it, but a whole video on this important topic would be interesting and highly appreciated. I play the drums, but have nerve damage (from not music related incident) that limits my ability somewhat and it has been a challenge at times to make things work. Hearing loss (right ear) and sizzling tinnitus are also constant friends of mine, as to many other musicians. To hear your experiences and thoughts on these matters could be helpful to many people, not just musicians. Thanks and Happy New Year too!

Leland, you can thank Post Master General Louis De Joy for the lousy post office service. When Trump appointed him, he announced that he was going to put the post office out of business, that postal service should be private. Well, he failed to end the postal service. But he closed hundreds of post offices, removed thousands of postal boxes from the streets, cut back on postal employees, no overtime -- which is how the PO handled holidays in the past. I recently paid for two-day expedited service. My letter was delivered five days late. No refund.

De Joy made me so angry ... his actions were aimed at delaying ballots.
