How many days you fish in a year compared to a pretty regular weekend fisherman helps somewhat bring into perspective what you're saying. You are so right about Red Ear (Shell Cracker the same) that stay off their gathering spots! And some say you can literally take them out from under the boats right over them (of ignorance), and put them in your livewell! We may have done this some! 😮😅😊

MIcah, Love your fishing videos, Love the catch and cook and specially the panfish ones. But how about a fishing challenge? 24 hours only want you catch and you only use 2lb test line and only artificial????? Be safe out there and look forward to your next one!!!

The darker ones are males. The lighter ones, mostly yellow and green, are females. They're bedding down there. The males make nests, like blue gill, and the females come in to lay eggs. One of my favorite fish to catch.
@arthur8struxness7657 ай бұрын
Monica if you take your worm and threaded through the hook and up the shank of it the fish normally will push it up and you get to keep your bait.

Dip the onions in a dry badder, then dredge them into a wet badder and fry. I always use DRAKES fish badder. It has a goose on the box. It makes the onions taste like a great carnival onion ring. Sooooo good 👍🏻

Gosh i love this channel. I fish a lake in washington and it took me awhile to learn where the fish are. Like you say its like 90% of the fish are in 10% of the water. And even then, some days are dead. We went a few days ago and the post spawn crappies were everywhere. I’ve spent days looking for a few crappies. This year seems to be different. The three spots i fished all had em. We prolly landed 60 crappie. I only kept 5 big crappie and 5 big gillies but it was like nothing ive ever seen. And i been fishing the lake for 3 years. Whats weird is its a big largemouth lake. One of the few in WA but i didnt catch any. Like where did they go? 60 crappie and not a single odd bass is weird.
