Tips on getting the bottom plastic part of the hopper clean? Its very hard to reach.. Now that part of mine is discoloured. The angled "protection" part where the screw sits.

What number do you set the hopper back to? If closing the burrs back almost touching, do you set to 1?

I forgot, even after full cleanup, dial (upper burr) is still rrreally hard to turn (by hand, I needed a glove), someone got it ?

Does anyone use this grinder with a Breville portafilter ? Does the Breville portafilter work with the Lelit Fred grinder ?

Muchas gracias por el vídeo, me ha sido muy útil para limpiar la mía. Quería hacerte una pregunta para saber si te pasa lo mismo o es cosa mía. Me resulta imposible hacer una molienda gruesa, mi máquina solo muele o fino o muy fino. He probado con todo tipo de ajustes y nada… ¿A ti te pasa? Saludos y gracias!

@Santipereza Gracias por el comentario!! 😊. Normalmente no suelo hacer moliendas gruesas ya que la utilizo principalmente para expresso, pero alguna vez he probado a hacer una prenda francesa y no he tenido ningún problema, simplemente gire el dial al máximo y todo bien. Un saludo.

Thanks for the video! I followed the same steps and after putting together the pieces, the grinder no longer grinds, I can only hear it buzzing. The black item seems to be stuck and I cannot change the fine/coarse setting... Any suggestions on how to fix this?

yeah ok, my dad's grinder is having the same issue. I can't move the fine/course wheel at all. Did anybody find a way to fix this?

Hi, just noticed I don't have the little 2 screws front plate on??? Also my grinder is doing a weird scrubbing noise at the end of grinding coffee, is it an issue ???

Hi! , my grinder doesn't make any noise at the end of grinding coffee. As for the dial, I have always noticed that's difficult to turn that part. I imagine it would be normal.

hi, please please help me with Lelit Fred 044 mmt, i am not able to find the respective video and the local service company refused to repair it , as the device was purchased on Amazon, not from that company.. The grinder differs from 043 version and I am afraid to start disassembling without instructions. As usual something stuck in mills, engine works, they dont rotate

@Tatyana12Inc Hi, if you purchased the product on Amazon and it is still within the warranty period, it's better to contact Amazon. In principle, the way the grinder is disassembled should not affect the motor, as there is no access to it and no possibility of anything getting inside. Therefore, I recommend relying on the warranty.

hi!! the black wheel screw is simply an extra marker for your grinding point. so, adjust your grinding point and place it where you see fit. 🙂

Sadly not. Tried it but it’s molted together with the button part. Absolutely trash design that part.

Lelit makes fantastic espresso machines ... their grinders are extremely bad and expensive .. at 250 euros to use it for a single year ...
