Chef, I will never lose weight if I keep subscribed to this channel, LOL. Thanks for making us all better in the kitchen!
@privacyvalued41348 ай бұрын
If you eat a pound of food, then the most you can gain is one pound unless your stomach is somehow violating the laws of physics, which it isn't. If you eat by weight (i.e. use a scale to weigh all food and drinks), you can lose weight. Then you can eat whatever you want and maintain whatever weight you want to maintain at all times. The real secret to losing weight is to weigh the food you will eat before eating it. Many myths/lies are perpetrated by the weight loss and sugar industries.

It`s amazing, i just wish that my Mom was still here so i could make it for her and see Her face light up as She tucked into the crispy meringue piped topping. RIP Mom, love you. x

I just made this!!!! I have wanted to make your Lemon Tiramisu since you posted the video, but I could not find good vanilla. I finally did (online lol) but by then it was time to plant our garden. Now that everything is thriving, it was time to try it. I honestly thought I would fail with a double boiler, but... IT IS PERFECT!!! OMG, JUST THE RIGHT AMOUNT OF TANG. It's not too sweet... It turned out perfect. It has been in the fridge for like 5 minutes lol. I am so excited I had to post this comment right away. Next I am going to make the syrup with Limoncello. Tomorrow, when my hubby gets home from a week on the road (He is a truck driver), I will have Lemon Tiramisu waiting for him. The leftover Lemon Curd I want to use in a stuffed French toast with blueberries. Blueberry and lemon together are fabulous. I have fresh mint in my garden for garnish and today I saw my first red raspberries in my yard! Perfect garnish with mint on the Tiramisu. This tastes so much better than the store bought with a ton of additives... Thank you 1000000 times over. Now I can just hope the Tiramisu turns out as well!

I LOVE lemons, so this will be a real treat for me. Is there any way you can show us how you make Lemon Tiramisu? Never tried that but would love to. Please don't stop showing all of us new--and old--cooking techniques. We all learn a lot from you, regardless of our age (I'm a few years younger than you). I love lemon curd and can't wait to make this! I made your crunchy brownies for the second time yesterday, and made a slight change this time...I took an idea from your chocolate chunk cookies (which we LOVE), and replaced 1/4 cup if the sugar, with light brown sugar. I figured it would make them more 'carmelly', especially with the heath bits in them. DELICIOUS!!!! Confession, they are almost gone! By the way, THANK YOU for making the notation, in order to double or triple the recipe...you are the BOMB!!! WE LOVE YOU and look forward to Monday's and Thursday's. Saw the bowl of sweet potatoes on your counter...hmmm, wondering if we will see a new sweet potato dish this week? Perfect. I love lemon curd and home-made is unbeatable. A few years ago, I had forgotten to make a plate to take to friends' for a shared lunch. In a panic, l bought some mini tart cases filled with lemon curd and, to make them look a little more special, l topped each one with a strawberry cut into a fan. They were outstanding. I had no idea lemon and strawberry went so well together. Everyone commented on how good they were and l never admitted that l'd improvised. Definitely recommend making them with this.

What a great recipe, I love lemon. As for needing a less strong burner, they make things called flame tamers that sort of work, but if you don't have one, you can stack one of you stove grates on top of another and use that. Obviously make sure it is stable and isn't too high. Mine stack stably to be about 1.5" taller and lets me use a medlow flame that won't blow out and still cook. Its only down side is it effectively prevents cooking on the rest of your stove at the same time.

The prep is 75% of the work. These cooking shows make everything look so easy. It’s the people who do all the shopping, cutting and prep who do most of the thankless work. The star walks in and gets all the glory.

Thank you so much for this fabulous recipe, Chef! 🥰 I, too, am a lemon NUT! When I make my favorite Lemon Cake I add fresh lemon juice to the mix and then, in a Pyrex mixing cup, I melt confectioner's sugar, Fresh Lemon Juice and a bit of butter to put on top of the cake after it is baked. It comes out to be about a cup but do as much or as little as you wish! I do NOT like or want frosting on MY lemon cake but now I can use that lemon curd for the cake as well and it will 🎶SING L E M O N🎶 to me! I poke holes on the top and sides of the cake with a meat fork and pour the warm sugar-lemon mixture over it. If you LOVE LEMON...try it!.
