We have area here Called Apple Hill (though fires are threatening this event), we buy freshly picked apples, sip hot cider and enjoy many variations of apple pies/cobbler/apple butter! Can’t wait for all of it. Love Thanksgiving & Christmas! For Christmas we decorate with lots of exterior lights. We really go all out with lights.

I just love your videos. That cake looks so good! I'm breaking up with summer too... here in Colorado we have had more 90 degree days than ever before... we don't have humidity, but it's still hot! That looks so good I’ve never had a cake like that! I used to buy that Baker’s Joy all the time I don’t know why I stopped. So much easier than dusting the pan with flour and having to make sure it gets in every little part of the pan. I like keeping evaporated milk and sweetened condensed milk on hand. I like using the milk just like I would use half-and-half. My grandmother always used to used evaporated milk in soups and rice and I do that now.

I love the Baker's joy, I started using it on my bundt cakes and they have never stuck again. And yes so much easier. This cake was delicious and it was so easy too. I've never seen this cake, but my, it sounds delish! I am a big fan of sweetened condensed milk! I always save a tiny bit in the bottom of the can for myself. Naughty, but I do it!

That's almost as bad as throwing away that cool whip bowl 🤣 This cake was very delicious and it was a little different than other poke cakes Ive seen. Great recipe!! 😋 I am going to try it but we don't have cool whip and canned lemon icing in Switzerland so I am going to replace those with something else. I know a similar cake called Fanta Cake where you add orange soda into the dough and use canned peaches in the cream topping. I appreciate quick and easy recipes like that 😊.
