As someone who plays the flute (each finger has a dedicated key pretty much) switching between looking at the music and hitting the right keys is a task

I saw some people use multiple fingers to play kalimba than just using their thumbs, but I think flute is a lot more harder to play than kalimba 😆

been playing guitar but never had a chance to read notes. all by ears and how the chords would look like on a guitar. this is really helpful now im starting to practice kalimba. maybe my gateway to read music and play other instruments. Thank you!

Your video was helpful. but as another person noted, the volumn (your voice & music you play) is so low, can't hear it at all. Yes, my speaker and everything else is turned up correctly as I hear commercial part of your video loud and clear. should double check.

Kalimba is relatively an easy instrument to learn. If you watch this video, I think it would give you a good overview of the basics that you need to play the kalimba. KZbin also has lots of tutorials on music theory, you can just search for it. Let me know if there’s specific thing that you want to learn more about.

The notes are just like piano sheet music except rotate to the left. If you play the piano before, this probably would be familiar for you.😆
