There's something innately sad about this clip knowing she graduated. You go back in time and find out she was a huge fan of Hololive and then you can only imagine what she must have been feeling when she was told she'd be part of the 2nd generation of English. She was a part of something she loved. Then, there's a disagreement of who knows what, and she eventually leaves. There's no way that it wasn't an incredibly difficult decision for her to make thinking about her fans and that she loved doing what she did. But this is the path she chose so I will support that and time always moves forward so we must move forward as well. I'm still sad but I wish all the best for her in her future endeavors. 💚

​It's the new direction the hololive is going. In a nutshell they really want their talents to do more of idol stuff. The new gen of holo jp reflects that since most of the members were "real idols" in past life.

@@GREGGFOWL Multiple of the talents like Bae, Shiori, Calli, etc have debunked this. Now again, we dunno what happens behind the scenes, and unfortunately most likely never will. And yeah, them recruiting actual former AKB48 members who've never streamed before was a heck of a move also that gave a weird feeling to people. I'd like to think Cover isn't THAT enforceable on that kind of stuff, but in the end, it's an entertainment business, which comes with its own share and mess of business politics and thinking by the numbers. Now there's the usual things about working for a foreign company, like having to get your own marketplace health insurance if you don't live in Japan, something Fauna did address before. And we saw what happened to Ina and her Visa thing a few months back. Again, we'll never know, and can only speculate based on the bits and pieces we get.

As someone who had only known her as a small channel named LemonLeafASMR, there's something oddly surreal when comparing her from then to now. At the time, I knew nothing about Hololive nor the concept of Vtubers to begin with. And even if I did, I wouldn't have thought she would go on to become one of the most recognizable EN members of the Vtuber sphere, while accomplishing so much in the process without me realizing it until recently. Now I can't help but look back at her concert performances and think, "Woah, this is the same girl who did audio roleplays on her headset mic back in 2019?" I'm very proud with how far she's come. Although I wasn't much of a sapling, I'm sure they're even more proud too.
