One thing that Omega forgot to mention is special mode that you can play in the options. It makes it so that you instantly lose a life when you get hit, but in exchange you get three extra lives and your Alcohol gain is multiplied by three.

You might as well "install" the patch, especially considering what's there isn't something you install anyways. JynX made it so all the game files are available for easy modification (which is why I was able to actually make an English Patch). But the HUD and menus and stuff have been translated ages ago, you just replace the Japanese images with the English ones. But I think you're gonna be waiting a _long_ time if you want to wait for a patch. There's a crap ton of dialog in this game and all of it isn't even translated yet, let alone making a patch for it.

If my characters were in this game, haze route 1. One of the characters uses my IRL name [ I'll be using :) to indicate them] (it's a self insert, shut up I do what I want lol) super stupidly powerful but has a particular factor that can be used if one desires to kill me. SSneaky is a 40% electric energy demon and 50% mimic hybrid (in my cannon true mimics are formless and true electrical demon are just energy) that came onto a planet from a meteor. That planet had a giant company called, in abbreviation, G.E.N.E.R.I.C. because of some inhibitor they somehow managed to whip up, SSneak is stuck at the size of 3ft 7inch. Finaly we got Sayen. He is the owner of the Hotel, the only hotel, The Sangain Hotel (and he, in his EX state, can just, pick it up...) being a Magnet elemental he has various position and location based abilities, and can attack with materialized magnet hands. :) : hang on I think we picked the wrong door... SS: YOU THINK! this isn't the beach! Sy: I believe this is some sort of battlefield. Alot of these footmen seem to all originate from the same place. :) : oh, why here? this is a seemingly endless path. SS: riches or something? :) : want to snoop around and see what's happening? SS: you mean beat a side into submission/ plunder things? on hard and unreal, you can find a "shot power at risk" effect. which hides your barrier and hp, and you lose over 20% of you power ON A SINGLE HIT. iv'e played quite a while and ive never seen "shot power at risk" on normal or extra

Wow, long prologue is long. By the way, how exactly are the character's names supposed to be translated? According to the wiki, Tsubakura's name is written as 玄鳥 which has the kanji for "mysterious, occult" which can be read as _gen_ or _haru_ and "bird" which is commonly read in Japanese as _tori,_ but also be read as _chou._

For the most part, unless you're using upgrades they don't matter. The only thing it applies to all the time is when you bomb it's your sub character who will be bombing. As for everything else, the character specific skills are also position specific. So for example, look at Yabusame's three upgrades Higgs Juice (slowly recovers HP), Slight Dimensional Fracture (gives you two extra barriers) and Warp Kingdom (allows warping between sides of the field when invulnerable). Higgs Juice will only work if Yabusame is in the main position. Slight Dimensional Fracture works in the main, sub, or support position And Warp Kingdom only works in the main and sub positions. So with that in mind you'd have to figure out the best mixture of skills between all three characters, or at least what you like to play as and then decide what skills to get. If you buy one for each character but they each only work if the character is in the main slot... you're gonna be disappointed.

a rouge-like, eh? like the german word for red? never heard of a game being described as red-like, but there's a first for everything. pre-boss barriers, if you slipped up right to the corner of a boss with sese, you would hit them with two bone skewers and absolutely MELT their HP. I managed to kill one of the final bosses without having to dodge a single bullet because I killed every single spellcard before anything got to me.

Purple route in the center is the neutral route. If you decide to head straight at any point and stay in the purple you'll fight a neutral boss rather than a Haze boss. Similarly depending on what square you end up in come stage 6 will decide what final boss you fight. Far left and far right are the Haze and Brilliant final bosses, but any of the nine squares between them will have you fight one of the many Neutral final bosses.
