Today I'm playing...Len'en Project music on piano?! Yep! This is "Another Mind", Tsubakura's Theme. While I'm not too familiar with the series, I can safely say that its Touhou-inspired soundtrack is pretty friggin' good! This was also highly-requested by one of you guys, so...there you go! I'll probably cover more Len'en stuff in the future, and maybe even get a bit more into the series!

Len'en's soundtrack is insanely underrated. It has tracks I hold up there with Touhou. Whether people care about it or not, I would count Len'en as having one of the best soundtracks in gaming history.

Please do a cover of Sacred Fireflies, Forgotten in Dreams! It's the most beautiful track Len'en has to offer imo. I think Len'en is pretty high up there in terms of quality, but even though it has a similar style to Touhou on the surface level, it's actually completely different deeper down. It has much more of a disco/dancing vibe combined with traditional spooky horror vibe to it. Meanwhile Touhou is a lot more Oriental & Japanese style vibes to it, sometimes metal vibes, and when it gets *scary* it's moreso uncanny than traditionally spooky. Len'en *does* get oriental, but it's moreso the stereotypical oriental ques you add to a song to suggest orientalism to the listener, whereas Touhou actually just gives off traditional japanese oriental vibes in it's veins (i dunno how to describe it in words, I'm sure you get what I mean). Plus I think Touhou tracks convey ideas in a much clearer & more beautiful way(as in it has that type of Japanese beauty to it, not just that it's musically beautiful) than Len'en. Whereas Len'en has more vibe variations within one track that you'd find in more traditional music/OSTs. Basically you dance & get spooky with Len'en, meanwhile you get chills while headbanging with Touhou. I personally prefer Touhou a lot more but I love Len'en too. It's just a different appeal I guess.

i have heard rumblings of this so-called Len'en... didn't realize that it lived up to ZUN's music. may have to check this out at some point once i'm finished with my touhou quest. havent been doing many runs of UFO recently since paper mario came out and i got distracted. hopefully by the time viddy uploads next i will have gotten my run

I really enjoy Prismic Accelerator, not too familiar with Meeting A Hero though. Still haven't heard it. I need to step up my Len'en game lol So far my favorite has to be Eternal Dance Engine ~ Shall We Dance!!, but again, I need to listen to more of them :)

I'm a bit late to comment on this, but I swear I watched this the day it was uploaded. I've heard a bit about Len'en, but beyond the fact that it's a bullet hell series inspired by Touhou, I know nothing. This video showed me that Len'en music really does compete with Touhou in terms of quality. Amazing work!

Len'en is a series of danmaku games made be JynX. It's Touhou-inspired. I haven't really played the games that much, but I've been listening to the various soundtracks lately and I'm enjoying them :)
