Amazing control, singers today can't have power, range but can't control their voice so they grate on you after a few minuets, but Lena was a master of control. I play rock guitar, sing and write my own songs, when I want a lesson on singing, I listen to Lena.

I have just rediscovered Lena through utube , i only ever really knew her through Opportunity knocks as a young child and what a revelation to discover these gems , what a stupendous talent , she has totally blown me away I never realised what a huge talent she had become , its like finding a really good friend you hadnt seen for nearly 35 years, am definitely smitten and a big fan , sending her much love "across the universe" and hope she is singing with the angels :) am sure she is :)

It was horrible to see her turn from a confident but humble child with a powerful voice and a cheeky and bubbly personality into a frightened and vulnerable adult. She really could sing, not just an amazing voice but the emotion and the ability to make the cover sings her own, often better than the original. RIP Lena, you should have been a superstar, and you are in our hearts.

Extraordinary performance by endlessly talented Lena! For me, every song performed by Lena is unique. So truthful, honest, classic and warm music, amazingly performed. The highest level of talent had Lena. With the greatest emotional facial and body expressions of like the best dramatic actress ever! Every time i watch Lena's performances i am deeply impressed by the level of Lena's union with the words of a song. God blessed Lena with the supernatural voice talent and she gave it all to an audience in each and every song.
