I believe rabbits twitch their noses as their form of the flehmen response, since most mammals have to lift their upper lip in order to expose their jacobson’s organ to the smell in order to identify it better. For rabbits being able to move their nose constantly it makes it easier to really distinguish different smells

Hahahaha! I have a bit of a naturally grumpy bunny (I got him from a rescue when he was 3, his owner had to let him go because he basically became unwanted... So maybe this is a factor of him being naturally grumpy... anyways, grumpy was in only look at him when he wants you to, only sit where he wants you to or he will start pulling you away, etc) but also the flickering their feet 🤣 The fact that he basically flips da finger only adds to his grumpy aura 🤣 Yes, he is even called Gimli for that reason

So I give it to basil first, she takes it, runs away and Astrid gets her treat, most of the time she gets two because shes extra big. Once she was done she hops over to Basil and trys to steal it. I always have second thoughts about being a bunny mom. I live in an area where location is the issue. The nearest rabbit savvy vet is 2 hours away. I also always have trouble understanding mine like I used to. Also I have trouble giving him enough attention and figuring out what in the world is wrong with his ears! I am guessing dandruff. He is getting a vet visit by a normal vet that has an average information about them. Mostly right too that’s for sure. Let’s hope I get my lazy butt of my couch and start giving him more attention. I’ll be doing that soon! 😂👍
