Matthew Dicks is a best-selling author, columnist, blogger, podcaster, playwright, and teacher. He wrote my all-time favorite book on storytelling, Storyworthy. I actually found myself laughing out loud at some of the stories Matthew shared. The whole episode was chock full of information that is both relatable and useful. I'm definitely going to check out the new book.

The greatest example of surprise done well I've ever seen is in the video game Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic 1. It was absolutely brilliant. (Please don't spoil it in the comments thanks.)
