Hey bro. I removed the hard disk containing important data during hinge repair of the lenovo laptop.. now when I inserted hard disk back into laptop.. when I started the laptop.. It's showing boot is missing or boot failed... It's completely working hard disk.. nothing has happened.. now what I have to do.. to start the laptop without losing any data

I got this error after a failed bios update and shit myself since it was my workstation. It worked!! You don't need to use that pin though, just tap F2 repeatedly after a restart

It fixed the problem.but can you tell us the cause of the issue, so that next time whenever I go to a technician I can get it fixed and revert back to UEFI boot rather than legacy. Thanks a lot(and also is it safe to use the device in legacy boot?)
