The track pad on the left side, is so you can slide your right hand over and utilize the number pad. You are technically centered if you visually cut that number pad off.

hell no autocad and thing like that require like alot of gpu. My sisters an architect.Make sure your laptop is well speced for architecture. Gpu and High cores are very helpful to architecture student she had used a sony viao but this was like 10 years ago sooo. Lenovo Yoga well speced out idk what the specification but she uses them.
