I really needed a peek into the insides of this laptop and your video was very helpful, thank you. I would like to make a suggestion. Please forgive me if I appear to sound like a know it all. I too hate them as much as everyone. But in order to avoid electrostatic discharge from damaging the RAM, it's a good idea to always handle the RAM only by its edges and avoid touching the copper tracks and chip parts as much as possible. Secondly, the very first thing that should be done after opening the laptop is to unplug the battery prior to doing anything else. This is to avoid shortcircuiting the main board which could result in a bricked laptop or a fire and explosion at it's worst.

In present time 16gb ram is enough for majority of gaming …ram doesn’t increase fps unless you are running on low ram …but if you do 4K or multilayer video editing adding more ram will benefit it

Congrats on your new lapto model 2024. Mine is on the way... 1. Never use a screwdriver for disassembling. You can use plastic putty knife along with guitar tool. 2. You are right the thermal pad for the 2nd RAM is already there but you need to remove sticker so that it can stick on your 2nd stick. Right now your 2nd RAM is suffocating...

Combining different ram brand is not an issue as long as ram specs match such as ram type and gen , CAs latency etc … 16gb ram is enough for majority of things but if you do lots of things at the same time …large size video editing, browsing..you can opt for 24gb/32gb

Performance mode m battery kam drain hota hai reason is 170w charger .. laptop lene ke baad lenovo pr complaint raise kr skte ho for 230w charger ke lie ..for i5 HX processor high wattage charger fixed the issue atleast on performance mode …Lenovo m 3 saal ka ADP 3k m mil jata hai ..Baki m nhi milta islie for long run in won’t recommend Acer and dell

see man I have changed ram of multiple laptop without disconnecting the battery and it never gave me any problem.. but I agree safe practice is to remove the battery first …. @PiyushMishra4607 yeah i know but it is always advised to unplug the battery from mother board. And i also own Lenovo loq 13450hx, hp victus, acer swift go , lenovo legion 5 .... Hence it's wrong to say that i'm a Lenovo fan boy. Mother board issue was found only in a certain manufacturing lot . And now it is completely safe to buy loq . But youtubers are completely misguiding people till now by saying lenovo loqs have cheap mother board , faulty motherboard. And on the other hand as a youtuber you have the responsibility to do every work perfectly because it impacts upon a lot of people and gives a message to mass. If you do modifications on laptop without unplugging the battery it may give the wrong message to people and unfortunately they may destroy their motherboard too. And at the end of the day the responsibility will be in the shoulder of the brand, not only lenovo but all others Brands . So do things properly with all safety measures.

mannaggia ha distrutto una scocca con quel cacciavite, consiglio di non fare alcuna mossa che ha fatto nel video, non è necessario : 1) utilizzare solo levette di plastica 2) non è necessario scollare il nastroisolante del coperchio delle ram basta sollevare il coperchio di protezione termica dal lato anteriore che è micro incernierato.
