The packaging is amazing on this. Are you enjoying it so far? What made you choose this over the X1 Gen 2?

Kevin Batts im loving it so far! The machine runs smooth and the keyboard is a dream to type with. I chose the P1 because I wanted the quadro card for my solid-works and autoCad projects and some coding. I needed something for work and some light gaming on the down time. It is a finger print magnet! Lolz

J Palafox I think X1 Extreme does have the all you mentioned though I am not pretty sure if P1 has carbon body

Hamed Jabarian i considered the X1, but went with the P1 because i needed a workstation for work that was light and powerful, not really for entertainment. According to lenovo the enclosure is made out of carbon fiber and magnesium, but the 4K model has the new carbon weave design. I prefer more battery over 4K screen and i also like the matte black finish a bit more, Though the carbon weave does look nice

Hey,I am at urge to buy an laptop and I decided to look up on this for my next buy ,can you please help me out to decide I have 4 main question about this one first is I am an ethical hacker does this suit me better than lenovo ThinkPad X1 carbon i7 ,second is how long does the battery Last for full charge,how are thermals on this laptop and the last one ,is the audio system on this good

So since you don't have the OLED touch screen how much battery do you get? On everyday use?

if you adjust the battery "savings" automatic settings to power (battery life) instead of performance, lets say only youtube, emails and online web browsing, anywhere between 5-7 hours (automatically sets brightness to 50% -70%. Anything like solidworks or light gaming on medium graphics about 1.5 - 2 hours with max brightness (est).

@@jorgepalafox976 okay battery is decent I'm a computer Engineer so i use auto cad, solid works, and other software so if you're getting 1.5 to 2 hours with solid works i porbley would get about the samething. Do you think the intel core i9 drains the battery alot or no? And what is your reddit account?

Has your unit made any whining noises even on light loads like when you have Power mode on "Better Battery" ?
