Thank you Leo. This video was a massive help with deciding to buy the case and the build itself. The PSU was an absolute pain to fit, as you stated. Be aware any intel buyers. You may need to order the free Noctua mounting kit for the cpu cooler. Also the case fans are three pin and my motherboard has only one four pin system fan slot. So needed new four pin fans and a splitter cable. Cable management was a pain also. Needed to use the space where a third fan would go, under the graphics card. Four months on: So I ended up fitting three 120mm Noctua fans to the case after all. I've redone the cable management a few times, to the point where I'm quite happy with the build. Added fan guards to prevent cables touching. And the temps are very Good, as I use 'fan control program'. Case temps Idle at 35c and 65c under High load.

When I built in these, i would always use small g-clamps to bend the cables prior to installing them to make life a lot easier. Very neat results but still a pain if you're in a hurry, which you should never be. Nice case though.

No POST and fans running at max is perfectly understandable. There are many protections on the board that trigger the "HELP!" mode in which the PC will halt and the fans will run full because it does not know what the temp is before POST. It's a safety feature.

I moved my build to this case. Using an atx psu. It was a pain at first given my psu is non-modular and has hard-to-bend cables. Then i figured out a way to bend the 24 pin so it lets me close the case. I also used the old wraith spire cooler for 1st gen ryzen. I'd say I'm quite impressed that it fits well without removing the case fan.

Hmm, I have an older revision of this case with a different RGB controller, with 4 pin 12v instead of aRGB. I was wondering why you had routed cables the way you had, the older version cables can run through the panel that your RGB controller is fixed to and so you can keep them out of the GPU section altogether and is much tidier. I also used an SFX-L power supply so there is room either side of it to stow excess cables. This case is actually bloody brilliantly thought out, despite its size my hardware runs very cool and very quiet.

I'm running a ryzen 7 2700x with a noctua L9x65 cooler, and an RTX 2060 founders edition. Idle CPU temps are in the low 40s and peak at around 80 under a decent load. If all you are looking for is a decent e-machine, you'll never have any cooling issues. I highly recommend the Noctua L9x65, not many coolers will fit in this case and this one will give you the best cooling for the space and is nice and quiet.

The big shuriken 3 is actually a better cooler for this case judging by what ppl say. I think replacing the fan with a noctua fan is the best option. They include the screws for 25mm thick fans. It was a tight squeeze with the slim fan above, but it works great for me cooling the 125w tdp cpu i have.

I wonder if the RGB strip in the front can be changed. The RGB controller Silverstone chose to use with this case has literally 3 accessories, none of which are fans other than a Fan Halo ring to go over a fan.. All the RGB stuff you would want to use is 3pin and uses their 3pin controller. This one uses a 4pin controller.

I prefer the original RVZ01, DVD drive if you want it, SFX PSU giving you a full size HDD mount above it and the Corsair H55 AIO fits in there nicely as well. Got mine setup as my VR PC with my old 7700K running at 5GHZ and 1080ti. Yeah having to use and SFX PSU is inconvenient, but that extra space for a full size HDD that is not as sluggish as a 2.5" drive and has more storage for your buck than an SSD.

I think I'm a little late to the party but has anyone attempted to forego air cooling herein this case to fit a 120mm AIO? I see that there's a height limit of 83mm for an air cooler, assuming that's with the slim fan installed above the CPU in the cover. I'm just wondering if there would theoretically be enough clearance for something like the NZXT Kraken 120 with radiator / fan assembly replacing the slim fan above installed pump on the cover? If this is possible, it could very well open the doorway a little wider to higher-performing CPUs, at least up to the non-K 13th Gen Core i5 processors that top out on boost at about 154 watts.

Just did this build yesterday with a i7 12700k and a 3070 everything fit and works good all except....I ran into the exact ARGB problem where it kept shutting off my PC 🙃so I just unplugged it. Another issue is temps, I havent re-mounted my noctua fan since I heard recently about mounting issues with 12th GEN Intel. I'm running 96⁰c under load. NOT GOOD. I tried flipping the CPU fan to pull from the cooler instead of push and flipped the case fan as well to pull and now I'm feeding cool air thru the other fans and pushing the hot right out the cpu fan area. I dropped to 79⁰c. Hope this helps anyone looking for answers with cooling. I'm still going to check the mounting just incase, ill follow up.

@@KitGuruTech It's a Corsair h60! I kept the factory fan on the rad. Used the slim silverstone fans by the Vega. The temps aren't impressive. The CPU tops 73 C while gaming, and the Vega hits 79 C. It's undervolted with the power limit @ +50%. The AIO was (obviously) the hardest part. the rubber gaskets on my h60 were starting to show wear&tear from repeatedly pushing against the PCIe riser solder points from my MULTIPLE unsuccessful attemps of closing the case. I'd recommend putting electrical tape on the bottom of the riser card to prevent that. The hoses wrap around the CPU block. They partially kink, but don't appear to be impeding flow in a meanful way.

After trying several PC cases that "fit into a home cinema" over the years, I decided it's a bad idea and I just put a normal mid-tower next to my TV. It looks fine, especially with a nice case. I get what you're going with, but I would argue that for a computer to truly be called a console killer, it should be similarly priced. It's a monster of a machine, far too powerful to be called an HTPC, but I would argue that it's too big to really be called a true small form factor PC alongside the likes of the skyreach 4 mini. It's in some kind of weird grey area. If the HTPC term didn't have the baggage of the computers that are just a plex client, then I'd definitely put it in that bracket. Maybe I'm just being too pedantic.

The Ryzen doesn't consume much more than one of those T series chips, at only 65W (and it really is that low), and is a lot more powerful AFAIK (don't the T series top out at 4 cores? Or is that a previous limitation?) I agree on using the 5700 though, it's definitely the relevant use case for a blower!

@@mduckernz The i9 9900T really exists. See www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/products/processors/core/i9-processors/i9-9900t.html There is a T chip for almost the entire lineup. I have an i5 6400T that I really like.

Can you test it with a 5700 to see if the included riser works when the motherboard is running in 4.0 mode?

While I appreciate SilverStone trying their best to develop something unique, I can't help but feel like the Node 202 does it better, and with a much easier to way force in an AIO, if you use a very short GPU like the Phoenix 1660TI.

RVZ03 is a larger case with much better cooling potential (three 120mm fan mounts). The Node 202 competes more directly with our ML08: www.silverstonetek.com/product.php?pid=607

One thing about console people seem to overlook that is the fact if you are caught cheating on a console they brick it and you have to buy a hole new console to play again. where on the pc you just need a new game. Pc will always be plagued by cheating because of this.
