The drinking of the milk totally set the tone for me. Most other "hard ass" movies would include the character drinking whiskey at a bar, wearing tattoos or some other type of posturing to set the tone but Leon was such a predator, he drank milk because his presence was more than enough lmao

@@zebraneighbor6383 It can mean the presence of innocence or power over the innocent. In Leon the professional it hints at his childlike innocence, a ruthless man still able to retain his empathy for a little girl. Furthermore his ability to relate with the girl potentiates his boyish characteristics, with the whole playing little games with her and all that. Whereas, in Anton Chigurhs case he is showing power over the innocent through consuming that which is innocent, milk.

Leon got paid, did numerous hits. But you have to understand he came of a boat from a different country on the run escaping his past. So of course he isn't going to get identification that's why old Tone was holding his money. Leon was in a new strange land hardly could read, not socializing with other people he just kept to himself.
