I was so in love with Perla during this era. Both Perla and Julie were the premier backup singers for Leonard. They could sound like everything from Abba to an angelic choir with operatic elements. They had soul.

At a certain moment he saw me, and also that I wasn't drinking anything. So he took a glass and brought it to me and we had a short talk...he was indeed a very friendly person,
