Leonard Cohen on Israeli TV, 1985, a rare interview

Cohen here is interviewed by Dan Margalit, an israeli TV persona and journalist on "Erev Hadash" (a new evening), Israeli Educational Television.
Cohen was in Israel in preforming in Israel on that occasion in 1985.

He was there when KD sang it✨

He was amazing inside and out- brilliant artist. He is loved all over the planet- by many generations many cultures. I was introduced to his music when my brother, who, 16 years ago bought me a set of 6 LC CDs for my birthday. I played them on a loop, got addicted and have been a passionate fan ever since. There has never been any performer who touched my heart and soul as much as he did. When he toured the USA I saw him three times. He was nearly eighty but was still pure magic. ❤He will live forever through his miraculous legacy.

You are so correct.I know this interviewer too and you are right, he is an idiot and with extremely poor English didn’t have enough intellect to even understand Cohen who was several levels more intelligent and deep then him. I miss Leonard Cohen, him passing away is a loss for all humanity.
