WOW! Although heavily edited, that little segment was reasonably intense. This was from a 1951 anthology film which had three different stories. (Gossamer World, High Diver & Horsie) Each story was tied together with a contestant on the game show "Queen For a Day" which was on radio from 1945 to 1957 & TV from 1956 to 1964. Adam Williams did a great job as the nervous High Diver. The complete film also had Darrin McGavin, Madge Blake (Aunt Harriet from "Batman") plus Game show crew including host Jack Baily. This film is available to stream on Amazon (free, if you have "Prime"). I just watched it (for the first time). Though all three segments are worthwhile, each one is better then the previous. Its actually surprising that a film this good was made based on a TV series that was considered so crass (a rather valid claim) in it's day.
