It's weird to look back and think of how big the landline long-distance business was in the 80s and 90s after AT&T was broken up. Just imagine trying to explain to someone under 25, "well, every house used to have a corded phone that you had to pay for, and if you wanted to call beyond like a 10 miles radius there would be a 'local long distance' surcharge per minute, and if you wanted to call out of state you had to have a completely separate 'long distance' account".

It's now 2024. Bill, George and Walter are all that's left of the cast. And Jonathan, of course. I was too young to have seen TOS, but I fell in love with it in syndication. I had the worst crush on Chekov!😅

That's pretty funny watching all of them pretend they like each other and want to talk to each other. I like seeing Franks thrown in randomly. The irony is if you take the fact that they are selling landlines out of the equation this is like any cell phone commercial. Just with celebrities instead of randos.

They’re really using the term “friends” quite loosely these days, especially when George is on camera……

Ironically, George Takai and William Shatner have never liked each other. Odds are, if one was in the Circle, the other would leave.

Loved this show. The episode that this song first appeared on, "All The Queen's Horses" aka "the one on the train" is still one of my favourite episodes. This video does the song and the series full justice. That moment on the first chorus where the horse ramps come crashing down gives me goosepimples every time.

Man, y'know I actually kinda thought Leonard Nimoy voicing the King of Atlantis was one of the awesome parts of this movie imo since besides his voice as Galvatron dispite not growing up with G1 much I also know him as the voice of Sentinel Prime from Dark of The Moon :)
