I got the DC-II, it really shines in stereo. I wasn't convinced at all in mono. Also, for some reason, it's the best sounding chorus for distortion and lead tones. It's a very unique chorus.

I mean, literally the Guitar God of Japanese metal scene fixed this pedal for you, and you still complain??? I don't understand people. Also I do think the fact that this pedal is dark grey, makes it kinda unique. It's like ash color or something

I supose that its the amplifier model or something like that, that makes the pedal easyier or harder to get a nice tone... Just a theory, but even the worse pedal sounds nice in a Plexi, for example

The CE-2W and DC-2W. I have tried a myriad of chorus pedals and I always find myself going back to one of these two. When using blues driver style pedals as a boost, they usually work great as an "always on set and forget" type of boost.

If you could only get one of those two, which one would you pick?

@@Dukecornflakes DC-2W. The CE-2W is phenomenal and better than almost any other chorus you will find on the market. However, the DC-2W just has something "special" about it.

I think an SD-1 (or a TS-9) when used as a booster needs to be last pedal right in front of the amp. Else it boosts the next pedal's input and looses some volume and some "mojo", doesn't sound and feel the same. I have a Line6 M5 in flanger or chorus mode going into a TS-9 into the front of an Engl Screamer 50 combo in crunch mode with gain at 12:00 o' clock to clean up with guitar volume. M5 has a DC-2 mode, it's nice but it needs two amps to shine.

@@francescocagnacci between presets and scenes the fm3 has hundreds of usable sounds. It’s my fav part of the unit really. With the helix I was always fiddling and never liked the stock sounds. With the fm3 I can usually find something I don’t even need to tweak. I do like to use some of the dry scenes with external gear just to switch it up… but not needed. Waza or not, the SD1 is still one of the most underrated overdrives ever. You can easily find one for 30€ and it will be handy in every situation. If i'd be able to take 2 from your board to mine, it would be SD1 and DC2. Because y'know, 80's :D
