Absolutely Everything I make gets donated. Most of the time it is through my church in Beverly, Massachusetts. The First Baptist there has a Prayer Shawl ministry that meets monthly, and all the women in that group are an inspiration. It is both knitting & Crochet, I just Crochet. In addition to shawls, we also make baby blankets for the newborns at the hospital, our own baby dedications and a few other hospitals here on the North Shore. We also have a Christmas Fair in November that we all do beautiful things, but we never sell. We donate!

I gave out those mini stockings at my office Christmas party last year and embroidered the initials of my colleagues’ (and for some, I made one for each member of their families) on them. When we got back after the holidays, one of them said their wife loved it so much that it earned a place at their annual Christmas tree. 😊

The Oui glass jar cover would be great for potpourri since you could smell the contents!

5:30, for those wondering, you can make a slipknot and pull it as far out as you want and then make a slip know with the fresh tripled yarn. and if you run out you can take the part of the yarn attatched to the skein/ball and bring it into the left over loop and pull the new loop you just made to get a bigger project done as well.

I love the Oui yogurt containers. I crocheted lacy covers (cozies?) and filled them with Qtips for the guest bathroom. I also did fall ones and put the LED tea lite candles in them

@@EliseRoseCrochet Can we "swap homes" for 6 months, starting Right Now!!! 😆First snow: if you are lucky, its only 1-2 inches, all fluffy all beautiful 🥰. Second morming, you have to wake up 45-60 minutes earlier, to shovel the stairs and the alley of the 6 mores inches we would get in the night. 3rd day: as it is always in december, temp. fluctuate between over 0, and under 0. rain/ice/snow, anything goes , and changes every day. Walking on the sidewalks, and crossing the streets is Hell: water and ice makes a brownish "slush" mixture because of people and/or cars passing over it . It is slippery as hell. Next month: Temperature drop at - 15 to -25 C (5 to - 13 Farenneith). The little bit of snow that is falling is immediatly transformed in ice. You try to shovel but a hammer would be more usefull as evething is frozen so tight!!! Add 6 months of this every years. I trade my place in Quebec anytimes!!!😁We never get used to it, every year, we hope that the winter is gonna be short and not too cold, but it never happen!!! Talking about the weather in the number one small talk, anywhere you go in our province of Quebec!!! So I'm willing to have a swap with you, I gonna send you a box...with ME inside!!! 🤣🤣🤣

What great ideas. I had never heard of our. But my kroeger store says they have it. Since their app seldom loads pictures anymore I can't see if it has a glass jar and the description doesn't say. I have ordered 3 flavors to try. Fingers crossed. Since being sick last year and the doctor wants me to avoid catching anything I only do curbside pick up. (Cancer treatments destroy immune system) At least I can go pick up the orders now. That's about my only social activity anymore lol.
