I mean, let's be fair, even the old Lep films are somehow more terrible than the "In Da Hood" sequels, and that's usually not the case with most movies (where sequels pales in comparison to the original). The first thing I remember thinking about this film after seeing it was that it had a totally misleading title and poster. The title suggests that it would be a prequel to the originals or an origin story of some kind. Instead, it is neither of those things. The poster showed a very humanoid hand, again leading us to believe the Leprechaun would be something like the original. Instead, these characters are chased around by what is LITERALLY a small version of Pumpkinhead, and isn't Leprechaun-like by any stretch of the imagination.
