Damn, Baard is such a monster... like Matt Garska and Gavin Harrison in the same body. Unreal. (Unreal performance for all the guys here of course

Yes I'm 5 years late but that's a very apt comparison for Baard's style! Love it

I recognized Petter for his style. By the way, Petter Hallaraker is the guitarrist of RendezVous Point, the other band of Baard. He's an amazing guitar player. Saw this guys live this year, in the last live show before Covid, and all the band RendezVous Point were awesome on stage.

Love how the rhodes melody is played on the guitar during the verse. Would have been cool if they did that on one verse on the album version as well

Thanks. I thought i was fucking deaf for recalling that as a keyboard part when i realized it was played here on guitar.

@@thallakai yeah I'd say so. There's a video of him performing Down from the same show and he starts using falsetto for the chorus because his voice is really going
@johantitulaer10522 жыл бұрын
@@finnthehu200 It's kinda sad, because that's the whole reason I love this song, THAT part of the vocals. But yeah, from experience when starting and after a while of singing high mixed voice, you WILL voice crack, which is even more embarrassing. So pretty clear why he did it. Still sad tho!

a bit late comment, i hope you see this, but saw Robin play with them, he has a really good charm, he's very good with the audience, he smiles all the time, and as a guitarist i cant say anything other than that he's great!

Sadly Einar was saying Oystein isn't able to take as much time out for the band as himself, Tor, and Baard are. I have a bad feeling he'll be leaving the band in the future. Hopefully I'm wrong
@bkemeny927 жыл бұрын
I also hope you're wrong :P. His wife was giving birth to their child, that's why he skipped that tour. Oystein has such flawless technique and a very distinctive style, he's definitely a huge part of what Leprous is. In case he left though, Petter would be the perfect replacement, he's a beast.
@88omair7 жыл бұрын
Bálint Kemény Yeah man I love Oysteins playing. It sucks that he's not more involved in the songwriting like he used to be, he composed amazing tracks like Dare You and Co-composed forced entry. Definitely an important member of the band.
