One of the great soul songs ever, up there with e.g. Marvin's Inner City Blues.

On the Curtis Mayfield owned Curtom label, 1975, Leroy Hutson retains the freshness & uniqueness of his songwriting skills that grabs you as you listen, tight on the rhythms, yet expansive on the instrumentation

Looooove this song. Used to listen to this as a "rare groove" choon back in the late 80s.

I have this album and several others of his on LP and CD. I routinely listen to this track when I'm driving for work. This particular cut demonstrates the Curtis Mayfield influence and Leroy's prowess as an arranger. The string section was superb and gave the Love Unlimited Orchestra a run for their money. This track could have just as easily been considered Disco.

I had the pleasure of seeing Leroy Hutson at the Jazz Cafe earlier this year. He was AMAZING!!

Great to see and hear this. Shame the video quality is a bit shabby. But the music is solid gold. I love Leroy, for giving me so much joy through his music: Lucky Fellow, Love The Feeling, All Because Of You (& loads more). Some of this sublime music is literally note perfect. Grooving like a mother, and with so much soul. The cats in the band, like Leroy himself, deserve better recognition. Beautiful! Love you forever Leroy!

I'm the youngest of 6 born in 1968. Back then my brothers and sisters used to listen to this music. This is my favorite cd. I love the classic stuff. Leroy Hutson when to school at moorehouse with Donny Hathaway. They are musical geniuses.

On this day in 1975 {June 7th} Leroy Hutson performed "All Because of You" on the above episode of the nationally syndicated television program, 'Soul Train'... Six weeks earlier it had peaked at #31 on Billboard's Hot R&B Singles chart... Between 1973 and 1979 the Newark, New Jersey native had twelve records on the Hot R&B Singles chart, with his biggest hit being "Feel the Spirit", it peaked at #25 in 1976... Leroy Hutson celebrated his 74th birthday three days ago on June 4th, 2019... R.I.P. Don Cornelius {1936 - 2012}...

A great and under-rated track, from a great and under-rated artist. If you have the vinyl or cd try listening to this on headphones. There is so much more going on than you can hear here. It's one of those tracks that you can hear something different the first 500 times you listen to it - check out the piano 'solo' in the background for a start. Then the horns, then the base line, then the strings...... A real classic that doesn't get the recognition it deserves. A real piece of orchestral soul

One of two best LEROY groovers ever (the other is Lucky Fellow), this is mid seventies soul in it's peak my friends! This was the time when soul meant SOUL! To put this period that was soul (´60-75) in perspective, LEROY was the guy who filled for greats like JERRY BUTLER and CURTIS MAYFIELD when they left one of the best groups ever...THE IMPRESSIONS! What you got to say about that 80's, 90's...bla bla bla?

These were the times when we had something to look forward to as far good soul music artist then spent countless hours in the studio to insure that good qaulity music was being made unlike this fabricated bullshit they make in six seconds then call it R&B nowadays thanks for "Old Gold".

1st 3 albums were total sell outs in the North West of England as imports . Most 10 year old kids in Manchester knew Leroy Hutsons name because of Colin Curtis and Ian Levine at Blackpool Mecca and the Northern Soul scene . Oh how we laughed when London's rare groove scene said they exposed this underrated talent : you were 13 years too late -lol

I've been trying to identify this song for almost a year. I heard a tidbit of it on DJ Day's compilation record and was like WHOA!!! I NEED THAT!! Thanks!!! Does anyone else think the Brand New Heavies sampled this track or was inspired by it when they created the instrumentation for "Never Stop"?
