Probably one of the best duets ever. I bought this record when it came out ages ago but I can't believe the chemestry seeing it performed. Whoever came up with a suggestion for both of these artists coming together with Since I Don't Have You made pure MAGIC with this collaberation. ABSOLUTE M-A-G-I-C!

Amen. It's a shame this did not make it big, although it did get some airplay here and there. I bought the 45 then and I treasure it. Two great artists from 1963 coming together 20+ years later to make some music magic. It is just great!

What a terrific performance by an unlikely pair! You can see the bond that the two of these shared when they sang together. I truly love this phenomenon called KZbin because, at any time or place, you can be transported back to the music of your youth and, during that journey, find musical treasures that you didn't even know existed.

Oh, WOW! I am an oldie(63), but I think that this is the sexiest song and duo that I have ever seen. I have seen Lou Christie in concert several times and our pre-teen daughter just fell in love with him back then. I am about the same age as these two and to hear them just brings back such sweet memories of the late 50's and early 60's. Oh, my gosh, how I would love to see them in concert and sing this song which is made up of two of my favorite oldies. Thanks so much for posting, Schrooms73

Pure Dynamite!!! Where are the entertainers today to fill these shoes???!!!! Nowhere. They are all sizzle and no steak. This is powerful entertainment based on talent and artistic expression. BRAVO!!!!!!!I saw this song performed by them in 1986 I believe in Warren OH. It brought down the house!!!It is 10x more powerful in person.

Who could ask for anything better than these two great singers belt out and blend two of my favorite songs? I am an oldie Nana of 68 but I can remember being so smitten with Lou Christie in college. Whoa!! We used to call our local radio station and ask them to play "Rhapsody in the Rain" but we called it makin' out in the rain. I have seen Lou Christie in concert in Indiana where we were stationed and he was superb!! Took our pre-teen daughter and a friend with us. They LOVED him.

I just found this for the first time! It gave me the chills! I never knew what happened to Lou Christie. I loved Leslie Gore as a teenager. What voices! They kept on singing through the years. We were so lucky to have these talented singers growing up. I know Leslie is gone now. I remember hearing of her death. But she kept on singing. Lou Christie had an unbelievable voice. And he us still going strong! I love them both.

This is beautiful! Two unique talents who were clearly thrilled to share a stage. Their genuine admiration for each other comes through in their performance. This song sounds so much more powerful live than it does on the record. They definitely brought out the best in each other. It's one of those things you can just watch over and over again. Also didn't they both age fantastically? There are a lot of comments here about how good Lou looks but where are all the Lesley fans at? She looks absolutely fabulous! And singing her heart out as always! RIP Lesley Gore - you are sorely missed.
