Leslie's passing is haunting me and probably will for awhile. He just bought his first home at 67 and now he's gone. So much joy shines from him as he speaks. It's easy to understand why social media loved him ♥️ Rest In Peace ✝️

I think if he was here he would tell everyone it's going to be okay. He would want everyone to laugh and remember him as a good person who cared. We need to honor him by being kind to each other. I didn't know he had died until I got home from work that day. I actually questioned if it was true. Life is not fair. But Leslie Jordan got to go out on top and that is a gift. Take care of yourself .

Can’t help but love this guy! Poor family his sister died in April of this year his mom died in May and now he’s died here in October leaving his sister cricket behind. I’m very familiar with the church he grew up in here in Chattanooga. He was an icon to our wonderful town! He will definitely be missed and everybody be thinking about his last surviving sibling Godspeed Leslie!

I saw him once at the Starbucks in weho and I didn’t have the balls to go up and say hi. I really really regret that now. The world needs more people like Leslie Jordan. People who loved, were genuinely kind, and just enjoyed being alive. It seems like robbery to have him taken so soon after he was starting to get the acknowledgement he deserved. He had such a good message that so many people needed to hear and be around. I am very grateful that I was able to be touched by his art since I was a young girl. Thirty years of his brilliance in my life doesn't quite seem like enough though. Wherever he is now is having a good time, I can tell you that.

Such a sad loss, I've enjoyed watching him since I first saw him on Murphy Brown over 35 years ago. I was so glad to see him cast as a regular on Call Me Kat, especially when it was successful and was renewed for a 2nd and then a third season. The 5th episode aired last week and I don't know how many he taped, I hope they were way ahead and that we still have some moments left with the enchanting and joyous company of Leslie Jordan, a beautiful soul that left us too soon😢💔
