The idea that there is an optimal desk setup on which you can spend your entire day in the workspace with no pain is simply a fantasy! However, does this mean that you should ignore your setup and position your body during work randomly? Certainly not.
The first step towards limiting joint pain in the workspace is understanding the difference between your "working setup" and your "working posture."
A certain working setup can promote many different ergonomic postures. Altering your position from one ergonomic posture to the other within the same working setup is the key to maintaining low joint stress during work.
