I’m a chef at a country club and we’re really pushing to put ourselves into a finer dining category and your videos have been a ton of help! I was shocked watching a video from you from 2 months ago and you said you had 350 subscribers because your channel is fantastically edited, gorgeously shot, and incredibly useful and helpful. please keep up the hard work because you’re teaching me and others a ton 🎉

wow, thank you so much for such a great comment.....it really helps to keep me going when I hear that people are finding the content useful. I wish you luck with your plate design and if there is anything in particular you struggle with, let me know and I'll see if I can put together a video or ask a chef in one my Food Envy Podcast episodes. Thanks again 😃

what's amazing is that these principles can be applied to pretty much any art form. photography, painting, music; even speeches. great video!

I have been wanting to make my home cooking plating better but could not find great videos. And then this one popped up with only 500 views and is exactly what I was looking for. Keep up the good work. Really interesting subject matter.

I stumbled upon your channel when I saw the SLIC video on my suggested videos. Your channel is extremely underrated and I find your content very informative. It'd be great to also tackle the principles of the painted dessert of Alinea. I find that this dessert course of Alinea has been way ahead of its time and it's very interesting to look into as well.

To be completely honest, I'd not come across this dessert before and it's kind of blown my mind! There is just so much going on, it quite overwhelming from a plating point of view. I'll have a much better look into it when I've a bit more time, as it would fit into my Plating Gym playlist really well (if you've not seen any of them, I'll link it here: kzbin.info/aero/PLND2UEcwupKwOMoFemaaJbbEinA719h3r. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment, I'm so pleased you've enjoyed the content 🙌

I really enjoyed this video! My request would be that in the next one you include more examples of each techinique and let us see them for a little bit longer. I am someone who learns visually, which is probably why I like food presentation in the first place, so I would like to see more beautiful, interesting plates. Thank you!

Thank you so much, its always great to hear that my videos have been useful and enjoyed. Makes it all worthwhile and I'll certainly keep your feedback in mind. If plating demonstrations would help then I have a whole playlist from pro chefs on the channel that might be helpful along with my podcast: kzbin.info/aero/PLND2UEcwupKy67QZeGhdIgARoF7RQVLvW&si=dxNzzXX4qJzHv6O8 or www.youtube.com/@diningfables/podcasts. Very interesting video with some pretty well done writing! I just wish that the host would give his interviewees some air to speak without adding a “yup”, “yeah”, or “mhm” too often while they’re talking so that their audio bites sound cleaner, I really appreciate the effort in this though as I love making myself some fancy looking but simple meals whenever i have the time/energy lol

thank you for watching the video and taking the time to comment, your feedback is appreciated. To be honest, I agree with you and it's not something I realised I did until watching the videos back. I've tried in later podcast episodes to stop/ reduce the amount I do it, but its fairly subconscious as I'm usually trying to focus on the conversation or all the other elements that go into filming it (I'm a solo creator so do all filming, lighting, sound, edit myself). But I hope you found value in the video/s though. Cheers 🙌

this is stupid and dumb. Nobody cares about plating. They just want to eat good food.
