The ‘Let’s Speak Arabic’ series aims to teach Modern Standard Arabic (MSA) to non-Arabic speakers. The series assumes no prior knowledge of Arabic and thus is suitable for absolute beginners. MSA is the formal form of Arabic understood across the Middle East and used in the fields of education, diplomacy, business, and the media. That said, this series also teaches some colloquial (dialectal) words and phrases that are in widespread usage. Moreover, certain cultural and religious customs and norms are explained during the series.
The series primarily uses Latin script to represent the Arabic text, but it is also supported by the Arabic script for those who can already read and write vocalized Arabic. Those wishing to learn to read and write the Arabic script may be interested in my other KZbin series, ‘Arabic from the Beginning Part One.
The ‘Let’s Speak Arabic’ series is subdivided into units. This unit, Unit One, teaches Arabic greetings; various ways of saying ‘hello’ and ‘goodbye’; introducing oneself; asking about someone’s health and appropriate responses; asking after someone’s marital status, nationality, occupation, and whether he/she has children; as well as general points of etiquette.
Lesson One: Greetings and Etiquette
At the beginning of this lesson, I give an overview of the course, followed by a lesson on greetings and cultural etiquette. You will learn several ways of saying hello and welcome in Arabic, together with the correct replies. The etiquette of greeting people is also explained.

It’s sad to see so much hate and ignorance in the comments of a video of a very learned man trying to teach his language. You won’t leave your German class because nazis were German. The Japanese implication in that war doesn’t make people love Japanese any less. Arabic is a beautiful language. One of the most poetic. So many great texts and studies came out in Arabic during the Islamic Golden Age. You might not agree with a religion. But that’s why it’s such a personal thing. We all have different beliefs and it’s the beauty of being human. There are many Muslims who don’t speak Arabic. And there are many arabs who don’t practice Islam. By watching this video that was recommended, you’ve become richer in knowledge. And that’s all that should matter. Is that we don’t live a day without learning something new.

To someone who speaks English, it has been incredibly spoiling because English is so standardized across mediums. Mostly because I learned how challenging it is to possibly select the most accessible Arabic to begin. There are so many regional variations, and then you have this dominance apparently of Egyptian Arabic purely due to media (I hear the same thing with Spanish and the influence of Mexico even though the other Latin countries are just SO different). So what I ended up taking away is you have the sort of classical, Quran Arabic, and that is the best possible way you could ever get a handle on learning "Arabic." Of course, that is like a scholarly benchmark, and speaking that is like being super proper and stuffy. After that, it is whatever region you intend to speak it.

@trader420OP If you believe that learning a language is all it takes for you to get brainwashed, then, frankly, there's no hope for you. You will get brainwashed in the languages that you already know. Possibly even by some party that has translated their propaganda to e.g. English from a language that you refused to learn in order to avoid getting brainwashed. My advice in short: Learn as many languages as you can. Learn critical thinking. Stay sceptical. Have a brain.
