Love these guys. Over 10 years teaching these techniques and they still teach with the same passion and excitement as if it was brand new. Top class!

I am an older, newbie. Maybe 10 intro lessons in. I found this presentation to be top notch. The pace keeps attention, the conversational duet keeps it alive, the material is engaging, and most of all, the instruction is principle based, well explained and easy to follow. (1) Love the targeted pre-session warm-up moves, (2) Love the context of 36 BJJ principles as a system, (3) Love the general energy, interaction, instruction, review and topic, (4) Love the repeat, review, switch angle etc. protocol. In summary, material, style, wisdom and energy - fabulous! I rarely subscribe. You guys had me at hello!

This is the most complete jiu jitsu work regarding every aspect that may be happen in a real fight. When I trainned jiu jitsu sport the goal is the tournaments rules wich is completely different of a real one. And with out develop a accurate reflexes for real fight its very dangerous if you does not train these standards

I love this so much from you guys. Putting this material out there for everyone. You really show that ignorance is not valuable to you. Sales pitches aren't your business. It's like universities put their lectures out. Everybody win. The professor is nothing but happy if his students come in the door already knowing the material. That is where the learning really begins and spend more time on cementing it rather than introducing it. This material will help a lot of people getting to love Jiu Jitsu. And, as you know, people who fall in love with it wont go "been there, done that". They go "more, please".

Got into the 3rd fight of my life last night. Remembered one of your videos I randomly came across a long time ago and was able to lock his head down on my chest in half/closed guard and safely hold him there. I want to give a sincere thank you

You have to actually do it to learn it. You can’t learn/ do it from just watching.

23:50 Isn’t it pretty difficult for someone who might be smaller or weaker to hip thrust the weight of a larger person off of them?

Folks. Remember that this has to be drilled, practiced and pressure tested. Basically creating muscle memory. Just watching the video will get u nowhere.

The bridge is a powerful movement so if they’re sitting on your hips and they have a big weight advantage - more than likely, you’ll be able to off balance them . However, sometimes you may have to combine this escape ( UPA) with the elbow escape.

As long as he’s on top of your hip, when you bridge, he will roll over. My training partner was 240, I was 127lbs, no problems at all. That’s what makes jiu jitsu beautiful.

it is so fast that sometimes the video looks accelerated, it seems too dense and too much rushed honestly.

People have different leaning styles. Like the saying goes, you can’t please all the people all the time. We’re too diverse. The great thing is that as a video we can rewind again and again for those who need to slow things down.
@WtFGankalot

Rener does talk fast but one way you can look at it is that we have the benefit of pausing, rewinding, and slowing down videos. Think of the video as information dense with no filler content. Pretty good if you ask me.
