One advantage of doing this on my channel is that when I premier a new video you have the opportunity to chat with me as well if you wish.
In horizontal blocks there are 3 rows, a top , a middle, and a bottom.
Each of these rows cannot have a number repeated. By using combinations of TMB you avoid repeating a number in a row.
If you notice that there is one empty cell immediately fill that number in by counting up to 9.
It's fun when you have solved a puzzle. This puzzle is very easy. It's great to start out using this system for all puzzles. I am the only one on the internet that teaches this procedure.
Warning !! the biggest mistake beginners make is that they try difficult puzzles to soon.

Solving a puzzle is different from maths. I feel maths is more just remembering formulas/laws/proofs. Puzzles require logic/intuition/common sense and most importantly they require patience and problem solving skills. They can be very abstract but once you grasp the logic they become pretty easy.

Mary Jones Thank you Mary. Yes it is fun. I have found that many people give up too soon, because they have tried puzzles that require a knowledge of many techniques. It is better to master the easy ones before moving on. Using the step by step approach will help you have more fun.

For my style of learning, I think I prefer knowing the basic rules up-front as well, having NEVER played Sudoku, and immediately side-tracked, seeing numbers and thinking they need to add up to something, or be grouped or placed according to odd or even... yes, LOL, I am famous for over-thinking and complicating things! But by demonstrating the game, you showed what I was missing- that these numbers are merely symbols, not values, and that they must appear only once in each block, and in each grid row, and in each column. I was trying to teach someone how to do Sudoku thr other day and found it quite difficult because as an intermediate level, leaning towards hard level, I was stumbling for the best way to teach her. I just sent her a link to this video. You are a most patient and gifted teacher. You remind me of myb10th grade math teacher. Prior to him I struggled with math but he took the time time to explain things to me, I have a learning disability, and since his class I always got As in algebra, geometry, and calculus.
