@Englishwithjennifer3 жыл бұрын
I'm happy you can study with me here. Yes, I remember answering your question. This is related. I don't know the full context, but here are my suggestions: I don't know her. I want to get to know her. (OR I'd like to meet her.) He doesn't know me. He needs to get to know me.

I am here again.Teacher would u pls solve my query as u always do please🙏🙏 Which is correct? 1) "He didn't like when someone saw him work." 2)"He didn't like when someone saw him working." 3)"He didn't like that someone sees him when he worked." 4) " He didn't like someone watching him work." please reply please🙏🙏
@Englishwithjennifer3 жыл бұрын
The progressive makes sense in #2, but you need to add "it." 2)"He didn't like it when someone saw him working." This makes sense too. 4) " He didn't like someone watching him work."

Please don't get confused when you hear Scottish people tell of a moose loose aboot this hoose. What they are really saying is that there is a mouse loose about this house. If there were a moose loose about your house, you would certainly notice it. A moose is very large animal.
